Since every single tax payer in America got a tax cut, the tax cuts were not 'for the wealthy' idiot.

HAHAHAHAHAHA

[h=1]Who Really Benefited From the Bush Tax Cuts?[/h]
Many believe the Reagan and Bush tax cuts overwhelmingly benefited the wealthy. However, data from the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO) shows that poor and middle income Americans have benefited more than the wealthy.

The "wealthy" pay more in taxes. If you're saying the wealthy receive more in tax cuts, of course they do since they pay the biggest share. Except this has been done by several presidents before W...it's not a new idea. And the economy usually doesn't crash after tax cuts. The opposite is typically true, because instead of stuffing the money under a mattress, the recipients will probably invest it in their business or buy something which stimulates economic activity. If I'm wrong, cite for me when the economy took a dump after the POTUS cut taxes. Don't think it's ever happened.

Btw, wars don't cause recessions. As a matter of fact, it was WW2 that pulled the U.S. out of the great depression. There was a sudden demand for production of a high amount of military equipment, machinery, etc. Lots of assembly lines needed to be filled. It also accidentally started the women's movement, ironically. Women never worked in factories before, but such a large part of the male population had some kind of involvement with the military that it was necessary to bring on the babes. That kind of gave them the confidence that they were able to do what men do.

Anyone suggesting tax cuts harm the economy is either a socialist or a failed economist.

You haven't posted any links that would make me look stupid.

You posted 1 link that doesn't in any way support anything you said and you posted another link from a left wing writer.

You're a complete imbecile.

I'm not the one who can't respond to the CBO data. You are.

By the way, you laughable liar, where is the evidence Bush "deregulated Wall Street"?

You've made over 100 posts on this site today and all of them are a complete embarrassment.

I "failed" by offering 4 references you can't in any way respond to.

I think you should post that link about Bush & the deficit again. It will be a big zinger and you can pretend that Bush deregulated Wall Street, idiot.

the tax cuts benefited the middle class significantly, nobody can debate that fact with me

dissent is not plausible, there is no room, you already lost if you even think about it

now, even though Obama and the Democrats lied about the tax cuts for 7 years, the truth came out once Obama was elected

he didn't eliminate the tax cuts for the middle class because he admitted doing such would result in a 20 billion dollar tax increase on the middle class. So all those liberals who believed the lies for 7 years, SHOULD know the fucking truth today, especially if they're politically active.

A family of 4 with an income of 70 k saved over 2k per year, that's real money, that's a significant increase in disposable income, that helped spark 6 consecutive years of economic growth with low unemployment and increasing wealth

at the end of the day, a rising tide raises all boats, and that's life, that's reality, that's the truth

I didn't know how vit was defining "benefited" but yeah, obviously $2k would mean a hell of a lot more to a family making $70k than it would to some multi millionaire. I thought he was giving us the classic liberal "Tax cuts for the wealthy!" line. Of course their taxes should be cut with everyone else's. They're the ones who fucking shoulder the burden for the country. Besides, how the hell could government cut taxes for those who don't pay any?

Funny, I never hear any crying about "fairness" when I read about how the top 20% of earners pays some ungodly amount of the tax bill. Isn't it something like 20% pay 85% of the total taxes?

Taxes really isn't the issue that plagues us. The lower the better for the most part.

The real issue is Big Gov't/Big business entrenchment in the most important industries. Education, Health Care, Housing, Energy, Food, Transport etc. Regulations that make these industries tougher to disrupt when they've met their logical end is what is stifling us. The most egregious example of this being that it costs 4,500 bucks to take a Psych 101 class at a private university. The cost to provide this in a free market is probably like 200 bucks.

2k tax cut is great, keep 'em coming but it really has little impact on why it is tougher for a lot of people to get ahead today than 15 years ago...Innovation/technological advancement is everything for a modern society to prosper.
