What's important is who knew what the Taliban was about when the US put them into power. Did Ronny Raygun know they were a corrupt group? Probably. Did he know how far they would go once they got rid of the Russians? Probably not.

Both Dem and Repub presidents have supported some pretty messed up governments (including Saddam). Our leaders are not held accountable for this for some odd reason.
The right certainly only wants to take credit for what it perceives to be sellable, not for the truth! LOL! Super hypocritical would be an understatement for these guys on the right and alot of us on the left too! LOL! They may be sheep QL, at least they're content in their little insulated worlds. We are , unfortunately, not blinded by rhetoric and lies of the shepherds, just stuck with the cold hard ugliness of reality.

Anti Liberal: "they try to get by supporting our country's enemies"

Really? Ya mean something similar to Bill O'Rielly encouraging Al Queda to
attack SF???

LOL...all O'Reilly said was that if SF got attacked, they would most likely change their anti-military tune.

AL said and BB agreed that I have sedition in my heart

Do you?

I'm holding a cyber-kangeroo court for you Cap't Crunch, and you being charged with sedition of the heart. This is a charge not to be taken lightly. Assuming your plea of innocence, the court has one simple question for you....who is YOUR President?

LOL....start another thread if you want to bitch about O'Reilly stirring up your friends in SF. As it is, you're interrupting my kangeroo hearing on Capt' Crunch's sedition. One more interruption from you Doc Mercer and you will be led from the court, handed over to the military and used for sleep deprivation research. You'll be so buried in the system that they'll have to pipe light into you.

Cap't Crunch has answered the court and the court is satisfied. Cap't Crunch...(stand up)...you are free to go. It is the wish of this court to not see you back in here again.

Now...about that Doc Mercer.....

Anti Liberal ... please dont post when shit faced as tired of hearing this bullshit when the Righties not too long ago were trashing THE LEADER OF THIS COUNTRY WHO WAS ACTUALLY ELECTED:

Quotes from when Clinton when committed troops to Bosnia:
"You can support the troops but not the president."

--Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"Well, I just think it's a bad idea. What's going to happen is they're going to be over there for 10, 15, maybe 20 years."
--Joe Scarborough (R-FL)

"Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?"
--Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/6/99

"[The] President . . . is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy."
--Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA)

"American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery. Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the world with a feel-good foreign policy."
--Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning . . I didn't think we had done enough in the diplomatic area."
--Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

"I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History teaches us that it is often easier to make war than peace. This administration is just learning that lesson right now. The President began this mission with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. A month later, these questions are still unanswered. There are no clarified rules of engagement. There is no timetable. There is no legitimate definition of victory. There is no contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our over-extended military. There is no explanation defining what vital national interests are at stake. There was no strategic plan for war when the President started this thing, and there still is no plan today"

--Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)
"Victory means exit strategy, and it's important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is."
--Governor George W. Bush (R-TX)

At this point it's just stupid to justify this by saying how the Taliban was brought into power. That is not the point the point is why should this towellhead get into this school in the place of a well deserving American. All you lefties do realize you are still Americans don't ya?

Duh lets not forget that we helped liberate that country twice now. The Russians invaded and took thier land I would think all you lefties would be crying for us to do something to help all those poor people over there. If a rightie is in power nothing he does will ever make you people happy. That is anti-American and makes you people the fools. You don't have to be happy with the president that we have be don't wish for bad things to appen to America with the thinking that will help the lefties. That is just wrong. Hell I didn't root against my country when Clinton was in office. I was happy the economy was clicking along , that was good fo the country. So when you people spew your hatred for Bush try not to be so ANTI-AMERICAN please.
