Anti Liberal ... please dont post when shit faced as tired of hearing this bullshit when the Righties not too long ago were trashing THE LEADER OF THIS COUNTRY WHO WAS ACTUALLY ELECTED:

Quotes from when Clinton when committed troops to Bosnia:
"You can support the troops but not the president."

--Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"Well, I just think it's a bad idea. What's going to happen is they're going to be over there for 10, 15, maybe 20 years."
--Joe Scarborough (R-FL)

"Explain to the mothers and fathers of American servicemen that may come home in body bags why their son or daughter have to give up their life?"
--Sean Hannity, Fox News, 4/6/99

"[The] President . . . is once again releasing American military might on a foreign country with an ill-defined objective and no exit strategy. He has yet to tell the Congress how much this operation will cost. And he has not informed our nation's armed forces about how long they will be away from home. These strikes do not make for a sound foreign policy."
--Sen. Rick Santorum (R-PA)

"American foreign policy is now one huge big mystery. Simply put, the administration is trying to lead the world with a feel-good foreign policy."
--Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)

"I had doubts about the bombing campaign from the beginning . . I didn't think we had done enough in the diplomatic area."
--Senator Trent Lott (R-MS)

"I cannot support a failed foreign policy. History teaches us that it is often easier to make war than peace. This administration is just learning that lesson right now. The President began this mission with very vague objectives and lots of unanswered questions. A month later, these questions are still unanswered. There are no clarified rules of engagement. There is no timetable. There is no legitimate definition of victory. There is no contingency plan for mission creep. There is no clear funding program. There is no agenda to bolster our over-extended military. There is no explanation defining what vital national interests are at stake. There was no strategic plan for war when the President started this thing, and there still is no plan today"

--Rep Tom Delay (R-TX)
"Victory means exit strategy, and it's important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is."
--Governor George W. Bush (R-TX)

Doc..I think that non-support of our nation's leaders is different than disagreeing with what they're doing. You can disagree with everything a guy does in office. It's when you root for our leaders to fail, to the detriment of one's country, just to have some sort of fiendish satisfaction for your political hatred of those in power...that's what I have a problem with. I think that it's a form of treason. Many of the far-left have crossed the line and have gone from dissent and political disagreement and have become simply anti-American.

And you must be GOD II! A slippery slope you cons are on - be careful if you have an accident and have to do some 'SPLAINING!

Huh??

I agreed with anti-liberal for the following quote:

"Your leader"? If you're an American, he's YOUR leader too. It's amazing to me that you can disassociate yourself from your own country because you don't like was elected President. Even worse, you root against your leader to fail, which would hurt this country, just to justify your own personal political agenda. You have sedition in your heart.

I said:

"Yup!"

He's right!

Clinton was an immoral man, a liar and a perjurer - and he was MY President, just as he was YOUR President.

Bush has turned his back on his conservative base, and I'm mightily pissed at him - I wouldn't complain if he resigned and Dick Cheney became Prez - but Bush is still MY President, just as he's YOUR President.

You say that we conservatives are on a slippery slope, but I don't see what's wrong with telling the truth.

Relax, guy. I was just breaking your balls and giving you the answer you wanted. My post about crossing lines was meant in general terms. Didn't it make you feel good to climb on your white horse and crusade against the evil right with your sarcasm laced sword and your name-calling tipped lance?

And who put the Taliban in power? Here we go again, still haven't answered the first time.

CC:

What's important is who knew what the Taliban was about when the US put them into power. Did Ronny Raygun know they were a corrupt group? Probably. Did he know how far they would go once they got rid of the Russians? Probably not.

Both Dem and Repub presidents have supported some pretty messed up governments (including Saddam). Our leaders are not held accountable for this for some odd reason.

Quantanleap.....Don't worry about it....that's just Capt Crunch's way of equivocating around that simple fact that this little inbred scumbag that Yale let in, ahead of American students, was the spokesman for arguably the most brutal regime in the world since the Nazis...after forcing ROTC off campus.

What the left can't achieve at the ballot box, they try to get by supporting our country's enemies. They'll keep it up until one day our women have to walk around wearing burkas.

Anti Liberal: "they try to get by supporting our country's enemies"

Really? Ya mean something similar to Bill O'Rielly encouraging Al Queda to
attack SF???

Or ya mean something similiar to Bush selling out National Security Interests to a country that recognizes Al Queda as the Official Govt of Afghanistan?

Sorry, Charlie .. your bullshot TRAITOR chants aint sellable anymore to Americans
