Cecil I am almost positive on the rules pages of cascade it said something about bet being void if games has started and now it is gone. I am really confused now and something does not smell right here.

(ALL WAGERS WILL BE ACCEPTED UP TO THE POSTED STARTING TIME OF THE EVENT)

pea brain .. where does it say that wagers wont be accepted after the starting time?

i still dunno if i have this right .. you past posted lenny .. still lost .. rofl .. and now you want your money back when you tried to cheat him?

you remind me of a story my grandfather told me about cheaters and when something looks to good to be true it is.

a man was driving down a road one day and saw a county fair racetrack .. a sign said 'weekly races'. he went in and saw some harness horses. there were 2 farmers booking bets. in one race there were 3 horses. 1st horse was 4-5 to win .. 2nd horse was 4-5 to win to. 3rd horse was 100-1 to show!

these men are dumb wads! the man thought. there are only 3 horses in the race! he went to the farmer and said can i have 100 to show on no. 3? the farmer said sure and that pays 10 thou if he shows .. the man said 10 thou if he comes 1str 2nd or 3rd? .. the farmer said yep.

so the guy watches the race. he stays close to the farmer so he cant run off. the 3 goes out to a 5 length lead. hes 5 lengths in front the first time around .. 10 lengths in front on the back ... 15 lengths in front coming into the stretch!!! .. the guy is thinking oh good im rich .. then 100 feet from the line the horse takes a right turn at a hole in the fence and trots over to a tree to graze.

wtf??? the guy hollers .. that horse just left the course and only a few steps from the line!!

yep the farmer says .. hes done that every week for the past five years.

This is the biggest no-brainer I have ever read here. WHY would BTJ have placed the bet in the FIRST place if he wasn't shooting an angle ??

Clearly he knew the game had started or he wouldn't be making his insane rantings.

Cascade is a GREAT book. I don't care what has or hasn't been removed from their site. They did NOTHING unethical in this instance. BTJ, on the other hand, was VERY unethical and he is making it worse by continuing to rant about it.

Jim, I gotta admit, I have always enjoyed reading your posts, but on this one you should back off. You are balls-out in the wrong.

And yet another thread is turned into the BEANTOWNJIM /Cascade soap.

Jim, you have several threads open regarding your Cascade "problem".

I am not going to allow you to turn every thread you post in to turn into your soap opera.

Call it whatever you want, but, you have been warned too many times by every mod here about this same shit.

It is nothing against you, or for Cascade.

You have turned dozens of unrelated topics into your own Cascade drama. It is not fair to allow you to hijack thread after thread and turn it into your own little soap opera.

You have threads that you have started regarding your dispute with Cascade, and dozens of others still open that you have already turned into your Cascade dispute threads.

I am just asking you to stop turning any more threads into the same dispute. Is that really asking too much?

THANK YOU JudgeWapner and Cecil,
I heard much complaining and it certainly seemed that
BTJ was wronged.I never heard the real issues
and more importantly the policy of the book(and your comments JW- of his honesty)
I think you 2 have quite clearly brought those to light!

It dont matter one bit what was changed on the website.
thanks again

Uncle,

I will laugh for a week about that..LOL, I never read Beantown crap... and you now understand why..Let me start a thread like this..

I watch the lakers score the first 8 points in the second half... and made a wager on the lakers,They lost my second half and cascade graded it a loss..WHAT A BUNCH OF CROOKS...I swear to god i have never heard of anything like that in my life..I was thinking i was so smart betting 2 half wagers after they started and i lost 80% of those bets anyway..Jim man..Your the greatest

Then why did his written rule say the opposite?

A stand up guy honors his written rule, a fraud cheat does not.

Once again...no agenda whatsoever there, huh JJ?

Realistically, Ken & Russ do everything they can to resolve disputes. Depending on the book in question, this may or may not help.

Known stiff books or those who are primarily credit shops probably couldn't give a shit what these guys say about them on their forums.

A primarily internet based book would be more responsive to do the right thing (especially if they advertise on any forum).

Most of the time, it usually comes down to players "playing on the fringe"-except of course in the cases of an Aces Gold....then everyone get's to do the Deliverance squeal.

No one can perform miracles, and no one should expect any forum owner to try to for you because you got stiffed by some fly by night stiff book who offered a different number.

Be smart-stay in the mainstream.

Take a cheap shot, take one back-tough shit.
