Rarely under $100, usually between $200-300. I like to pay for gas in cash, so you need $70 ish for that unless on a motorcycle.

A few hundred isn't really a lot of money.

My ATM card maxes out at $300, so I like to have 2-300 before that safety cushion, and that is not exactly a ton of money, wife always wants cash to, so it it is hard to keep $300 in my wallet.

I always pay for gas in cash and that alone comes close to $100 in a car....kind of need $200+ in cash at all times.

I want cash for gasoline, beyond that I just keep the cash and don't go crazy with it.....it's just there as the most acceptable and easy form of currency. I use a debit card most often actually and try to keep a few hundred in cash in my wallet to feed my first wife and just have some money in it's easiest form.....but it won't be long before cash is ill-Eagle ?
