I just came from picking my wife from work.......in the last 5 blocks before my house there is ALWAYS a big traffic jam .....and this dumb truck driver kept honking every time the stoplight (that he could see....far .....far ahead of him) turned green

I really dont have a clue why people here buy nice cars.....its not like you want to be IN your car driving at 5 kph stoplight-stoplight

Thing is in the states we actually have cops that pull you over for reckless driving and illegal lane changes.

I rarely see any transito cops pulling people over for speeding etc. Whereas in the states you see them everyday.

the problem is that our dumbasses wanna be /poor excuse of a cop.......they dont go on the road like CHiPs......they stand at a corner and watch the cars go by them

IF I was a transit cop.........and IF I got paid on commision...........I would be a trillionarie .....and probably would not stop issuing tickets........anyone that drives 1 km can probably write (At the very least ) 3 tickets

they will need about 10x cops to actually get everything under control (I would hope that the increased fines etc would help to pay for more cops but the 'caja unica del estado' is a blackhole......where the money comes in but never goes out to where it should

this morning I took my wife to the dentist......there was a crash in the usual route so I went using the expressway that comes from Limon to the Republica newspaper in barrio tournon.........in the expressway there is now an 'unofficial' 3rd lane as everyone drives on the shoulder.........and when they hit the entrance to the Eden Motel......they simply go in 'a little bit' and then immediately exit .......thereby continuing the 3rd lane. This is one of those examples where people break the rules but I can't fully say I blame them.......the road is still not big enough for the influx of cars
