First time in a long time I won't be watching it.

I can't support a transgender former athlete from 30 years ago being given a courage award over people that really deserve it more. This he/she isn't even in the same ballpark as Jim Valvano, Stu Scott etc.

Should've given the award to Gronk

Probably not live.....I`ll catch it late night or during the week....They show it so many times.

Ditto...I'll obviously FWD a certain part but they've had some decent skits over the years.

Look at Derek Fisher's sourpuss face. Starts at 4:15

I wouldn't say she's in the same boat of courage as some others.....but there is no doubt her actions took plenty of courage. You don't think she knows that she will be the ridicule of half the country?

i would say Jenner doing this will save the lives of many young transgender people out there and that's a good thing.

Come on now Vit....you can't be serious.

Yeah with that suit KG looks like a piece of the gulf coast after the BP oil spill. Just some random dark blob sticking out.

Uh yeah I'm serious. You guys got to come outside the bubble every once in a while. This is a progressive world.

Its courageous on Jenners part for sure.....it's ESPN decision to give him the award and that certainly can be debated. But the fact that Jenner being who is he could save some kids who are too embarrassed to be who they are.....really can't be debated.

I concur, stop the idiocy, don't encourage it

my guess is that just about every person alive has done something that courageous

hey, I got a lap dance from a black girl, is that courageous too?

Yeah we know military is at the top of the list but that doesn't mean that somebody else isn't courageous. The real problem is with ESPN....not with Jenner or the transgender community.....her doing this, knowing that a portion of the public hate anything that they don't understand or makes them uncomfortable shows a lot of courage in my book.

I guess my point is I think a guy they chose Jenner over is a veteran, lost his legs yet still competes at a high level.

Has nothing to do with a bubble. This freak is a man who thinks he is a girl. Doesn't that sound ridiculous. I could care less when people like you say get with the program, it's a progressive world. There are also many Americans who still have a backbone, common sense, and integrity to stand up for things they know is wrong. Do I lose sleep over this, no way, but when asked about something I am going to have a stance on what I think is right and wrong.....and it's not because someone tells me to follow. Hard for any man with a set of balls to honestly tell another man that it's perfectly normal to do what Bruce did. I think he is a freak.

And yes those with common sense here are stating that espn should have picked someone with an achievement be award.

Youre just not getting it. You can see by hearing from his ex wives that he's felt like this his entire life. I understand that people stuck in their ways are never gonna understand things they think is "wrong".

Its easy to just say he's a freak for close minded people and I understand that. Most people that feel the way you do.....would just rather use the tact your using instead of accepting that people are different.

You can argue that others deserved it but that's on ESPN....not Jenner. It shouldn't diminish the courage shown by Jenner though. We all understand that military people are courageous.

someone amongst us likes chicks with dicks face)(*^%

Nah.....the idea of it I find gross and odd but I understand people are different and I can't bash someone for being who they are. I also understand that many people are shut ins and scared of anything they don't understand or makes them feel a way they don't wanna feel.....so I see why some here feel the way they do.

Its like these far right ,white guys who bash gays and gay rights.....then spend their weekends looking for cock. They don't understand why they do it.....so they just project hate when they actually hate themselves.
