Philly is over-rated, I like the play.
Philly is over-rated? Hhhmmm...
As far as I could tell this season, they are the ONLY NFC team to win consistently this year (basically only lost one game to the 15-1 Steelers).
The Vikings went 8-8 including a 1-4 finish when they NEEDED to win to clinch playoff birth. Of course, they backed into the playoffs in a weak conference and got a nice playoff victory in Green Bay.
But, they only scored 31 points against Green Bay's weak defense and they got 5 turnovers. The Colts and Eagles each managed to score 35 points in one half against the Packers ... why couldn't the Vikings do that? I guess it's because they're offense isn't truly elite like the Colts' offense or the Eagles' offense (when they had TO). It's a good offense, but against a secondary littered with pro bowlers who haven't played in a couple weeks, they will have a very tough time. I think that if they scored 20 points, that would be a successful day for the offense. The Eagles, on the other hand, I would expect to score 30 against that poor defense. But, because things tend to snowball in the playoffs, I like to take a 13-1 team at home against an 8-8 team in the playoffs ANYDAY.
