when it comes to the playoffs, throw out all regular season stats unless the participants are divisional rivals and very familiar with eachother, kruser's right on the money, minn might not break 10 points.

the team that wins usually covers in the playoffs. The lines are inflated for good reason. just look back at the indy game this past weekend. once a team gets down early in a playoff game it tends to snowball as players press. eagles defense is far and away better than the packers defense and will have little probmecontaining a one dimensional vikings offense with a gimpy moss.
OK, I rememebr that game and I GUESS you could make a case that the Vikings COULD have won that game. But they lost and they only an 8-8 team. How about explaining the 1-4 finish to the regular season when they had yet to clinch a playoff birth? I think that shows the true character of this team.viking611 said:
They easily handled the very poor Packers' defense and Brett Favre didn't exactly lead his team to victory. But now they are now facing a team with 3 pro bowlers in the secondary. They will need to find a way to run the ball this weekend with success because they can't drop back and throw every down and expect to have success against a top flight defense.
Well, anything can happen ... but I think the Vikings should have done better than 1-4 to finish the year if they wanted to be in the same class as the elite NFC teams.
