I just don't give a shit.

I didn't grow up in the hood. I'm not going to speak on why people feel the way they do or label them as racists. A white kid grows up in the hood and gets his ass kicked daily and gets his shit stolen all the time may have some racial tendencies. Who am I to say he shouldn't feel that way? I'm not him.

Lmao! Is that really how you think? Crazy.

We are all nut jobs, but you still can't address a very simple question. If Sterling doesn't agree to sell the team at a certain price and wants more and holds out, then please let us know the pressure of the NBA makes it a quick sale?

This is the NBA dude, they have a constitution. If he tries to sell it for $5 billion I'm sure they have the ability to have an independent company determine it's fair market value and sell at that or above. They aren't children. This is a real business.

You guys are talking about this like it's the government against a private business.

You don't understand do you? Say GS comes in and values the team at 1.1B. He could then argue there is a greater value and go to court and contest it. You think whatever the NBA wants or says is the law. There is a judicial process by which Sterling can fight this. Where did you go to law school?

You think the NBA doesn't have this in their Constitution? That forcing an owner out, the owner might "refuse". Come on now. You don't even need to go to law school to understand the NBA can force him to sell regardless of whether he accepts the price or not. You keep acting like the NBA is a government and has no control over its franchise owners. Damn bro, that's really dumb.

Go back and look at the NBA bylaws and why they can force him out.

3/4's owners vote, which they have, a Constitution that NBA lawyers can use, plus other financial measures to force him out. Pretty much it's a done deal. He's gone regardless of how hard he fights.

Notice a law professor said this:

"I tend to believe the opinion of others with more expertise than myself." While noting this is going to be litigated for years.

And someone who is comically uninformed, has no relevant experience or education on the matter (and who has a low IQ) said:

It will be easy. Cut and dry as it comes.

Why this silly little kid insists on posting this silly blather every single day showing everyone he is an utter fool, isn't clear.

Not complicated at all. It probably won't even go to court. The NBA will get him out and quickly.

Since you have never gone to law school, never sold a business, have no idea how a business is even sold, how would you know how "complicated" this is, or is not?

Oh wait. You have no idea.

Never mind.

Not to disagree with you but he isn't really your typical billionaire that is a captain of industry or anything.

He basically bought an asset for 15mill 35 years ago and because of expotential growth in franchise values through growth of the NBA, he is a billionaire now.

This isn't at all true.

Sterling's real estate holdings got him supremely rich. While the Clippers may be his largest asset, his rental income provides a ton of cash.
He also was one of the busiest trial lawyers in the state for 20 years.

CBS just reported that in a confidential survey, 16 NBA owners support forcing the sale of the Clippers and 8 owners declined to take a position.

[Most NBA ownership groups reached Tuesday by the Associated Press said they will vote to force Sterling to sell. The teams were asked the specific question of whether Sterling should be forced to sell, and 16 ownership groups said yes, while eight declined to reveal their stance.]

This article from SI on the matter is pretty good:

Sterling suing may lead to pretrial discovery, which could be designed in part to embarrass other owners and NBA officials of any bigoted remarks or beliefs on their part. Keep in mind, if Sterling is ousted because of racism, he would likely demand that evidence showing that other owners and officials are also racist be shared. He would use such information to portray his penalty as unwarranted and contradicted by the conduct of those who ousted him. Sterling might request emails and other records from owners and officials that depict them in a negative light. Sterling has owned the Clippers for 33 years, which suggests that he has had many interactions -- including private conversations with league officials and owners. If there are other owners who are racist or bigoted, it stands to reason Sterling knows who they are.

Keep saying it enough and you can convince yourself of anything.

Far from a done deal.

Actual lawyer: this is incredibly tenuous legal standing

Your posts are parody.

I am not sure why Ak thinks this will play out quickly when petty much every analysis I have read says it could get tied up in court for years. I am not pretending to be an expert on the ins and outs of corporate and anti-trust law...... but one wonders why Ak thinks he is.
