Have you ever sold a house or been involved in a financial transaction over 100K? You have no idea what you're talking about.

Hahaha, don't worry about my personal life. And you guys literally have no clue what you are talking about. Sold can be used in different contexts.

Lol, when two individuals come to an agreement on a price... it is sold. It can be pending hurdles or hoops, but it is also sold. You can also use sold in a more formal context when the final closing papers are signed and the deal is official. But when you agree with someone on a price a sale has been made an the item is no longer for sale, it can be considered sold. This is all semantics, the fact you guys don't understand this even after posting multiple journalists across the Internet using the term sold... it's not surprising. You guys are pretty simple minded.

Dewey defeats Truman.

WOW..you are as clueless as the day is long. An agreement doesn't mean shit, i have had people back out of house and business sales more than once...easy to break the agreement.... the buyer just loses any earnest money they put down.

Ballmer may decide after medical evaluations of DS, a lawsuit against the NBA...etc....etc...etc that it's just not worth his time

Shelly Sterling advised the NBA last night that an agreement had been reached with Steve Ballmer, and the NBA Advisory/Finance Committee met via conference call this morning to discuss these developments. We await the submission of necessary documentation from Mrs. Sterling. In the meantime, the June 3 special meeting of the NBA Board of Governors remains as scheduled."

What a liar and a goof

Of course this is all a distraction from the fact that all the written predictions by the troll remain 100% incorrect.

I guess the NBA just doesn't know as much about this as you...

So does the NBA

Except the comments about Sterling's lawyers.

You're in pathetic full troll mode now.

Hahahahahahahahahahahaha!!! I didn't even have to wait for the weekend for this comedy gold. What a great start... lmao!!!

The NBA has canceled its hearing to consider Donald Sterling's ownership of the Los Angeles Clippers, saying the team will be sold to Steve Ballmer.

The league says in a statement that it has resolved its dispute over the franchise's ownership with Shelly Sterling and the Sterling Family Trust. They agreed to sell the franchise to Ballmer on Thursday for $2 billion.

According to a statement Friday, Shelly Sterling and the Trust "also agreed not to sue the NBA and to indemnify the NBA against lawsuits from others, including from Donald Sterling."

With that, "the NBA will withdraw its pending charge to terminate the Sterlings' ownership of the team."
The NBA had charged Donald Sterling with damaging the league by making racist comments and planned the hearing for Tuesday, where league owners could have terminated his ownership — and Shelly's as well.

LOL, your personal life consists of posting on the RX. Period. You joined this board 5 months after me and have 8K more posts. Get out of the house brah. What else is there to know? If you think a business or house or whatever is sold when two parties simply agree, you are in need of some life help.

Not every transaction is purchasing a house. But yes, when a buyer agrees to pay a certain amount and you accept that amount, it has been sold. It can be sold pending review. But it is sold in the context of two people agreeing on a price. Like I said, there are multiple uses of the word sold. And don't worry about me personally man, that's creepy. Don't swing that way.

The fact this Acebb dude thinks Steve Ballmer is just getting the work around is hilarious!!! As if Acebb knows more than Ballmer on the situation and reports about the Clippers being sold aren't true. Just absolutely hilarious. How will he backtrack out of this one... one can only wonder, hahahahaha!!!

I really don't care if he sues after the team is sold. I never would have thought otherwise as the cost of the lawsuit is well worth the reward rather than fighting the sale of the team... which I was talking about the entire time. Apologies from everyone please, you guys have been awfully mean and wrong. Thanks!

I am going to have to agree with Akp here..... it seems pretty clear the Clippers will be sold at this point. I believed he would fight this to the end..... but I put too much faith in our legal system. I was not aware that our system had degraded to the point that expressing unpopular opinions in a private conversation could lead to you being declared mentally incompetent and stripped of your assets. That is some real old style Stalinist shit that I did not expect.

But for whatever reason Akp's predictions about how this would play out seem to have been correct. I disagree with his reasoning...... but regardless events proved him right in this case.

I never argued they wouldn't sell, nor did anyone else really...just that it wouldn't be fast. Still waiting on that verdict

Lol, people were calling me an idiot for saying it would happen before next season and that he'd be fighting this for years. It's May 30th and we already have a new owner... I'd say that is pretty fast.
