Is this guy worth a long term contract or do the Mets let him walk and go with their prospect Herrera?
Going to be hard for the fan base to see him go but from a front office perspective I don't think the Mets sign him.

Dilson Herrera is a promising prospect....Only 21 years old.....Been a call up the last couple of seasons and has done a decent job.

This statement is a big problem.....It was posted on the ESPN website today....Something like this should never be written during a championship run.....Wait for the season to be over.....2 team sources no less......They should know better.

But it changes nothing," a source told the paper. Murphy has a home run in four straight games, and is hitting .357 in the postseason.
