Arkansas Little Rock +4
Another team I have backed several times and have been very high on is Arkansas Little Rock. They have proved to be a top mid major team (climbed to #6 in latest mid-major poll). They return a veteran team with all 5 returning starters. They rebound the ball very well owning a +5 rebounding advantage, and play excellent team defense (allow 60ppg, good for 8th in nation). That should be trouble for Missouri St. The Bears who are dangerously thin are still without would have been starters Shane Laurie (concussion), and Justin Fehrmeyer (ankle), leaving them with only 1 legit ball handler. It's no wonder the Bears have turned it over at an alarming rate. Things shouldn't get much better against such a solid defensive team as the Trojans. UALR has proved they can win on the road by winning 2 games on the west coast to open the season (Cal Poly, Pepperdine). They have also proven they can beat the Missouri Valley's best by beating Creighton in a come from behind win. I think this is a terrible match up for a Missouri St team that is lucky to have 2 wins. They simply are not deep enough, or shoot the ball well enough to beat an experienced team such as UALR. Another game where I think the dog has a good chance of winning the game outright.
