I like the under in the davidson game, with Davidson's point guard out and curry having to handle the ball it may not set him up as well for his array of shots.....146 is pretty high for a very solid defensive WVU team, and I think the physicalness of WVU will show tonight and this will go well below the high total of 146......what are you thoughts dawg?

i def think the under is a solid play. I usually don't like mixing unders and a side in the same game, but if I had to choose up or down I would def play the under. hope you cash. gl

homedawg i really like the virgina tech game at -3 do you know any reason why this would be a bad play for me.....thanks in advance

i lean Georgia on this one. Although they aren't playing on campus this is a home game. Personally I never ever lay points on the road. Win or lose it develops bad habits as playing road favorites is a long term losing proposition. It's also funny that 75% is on VT yet the line has dropped a half point? Georgia plays solid defense so they will always stay in games. On the other hand VT tends to struggle on offense at times, especially on the road. I just don't feel comfortable laying any sort of points on the road.

I just can't hop on the WVU bandwangon that seems to have picked up steam on this forum...while davidson may have it's flaws, i just dont think WVU is any good. I've watched a few of their games this year and nothing about them stands out except they play scrappy. Yeah true they are in the Big East which is the best conference in the nation, but in my opinion they are in the middle to bottom tier in that conference.

Other than reasons why Davidson wont win, why do you think WVU will win?

Are you worried at all about Nova's body of work so far? Sure they are 8-0 but the best teams they have played are Rhode Island and Niagara. Meanwhile Texas has already played St Joe's, Notre Dame, and UCLA.

experienced. talented. better atheltes. excellent coach. Huggins has them playing 110% every possession. very good defenders at the point guard position. can out physical Davidson. Also Davidson is not as tough on defense so W. Va should be able to get easier baskets. Familiarity playing at MSG compared to none for Davidson. Balanced scoring attack rather than a 1 man show. Better rebounding team. Better defensively. Guard the 3 point line better.

not at all. as i explained in a post earlier in this thread i have seen this team play numerous times in person last season, and countless games on television. just b/c they didn't play anymore yet this season it doesn't mean they have never played in a big game. this is basically the same team as last yr and are as battle tested as they come.

don't look past the free throw shoot discrepancy. when texas doesn't hit their ft's people will say how they "shoulda" won but missed ft's. that's because they shoot 60% and nova shoots 78%. could be a huge factor in a close game.

FT is always a factor, but I don't think Nova has the big men to stop guys like James, Johnson, and Atchley.

if your a WVU backer at +2 you have to be loving this! with 70% of the public on Davidson the line has moved 5.5 points in our favor. First that tells me this is a winner. I wish I had more on it so I could buy like 20% back and play a small middle...if you have wvu +2 and could get davidson +2.5 it's almost worth playing Davidson for 25% of your original wager.
