Don't get me wrong, I definitely agree looking ahead can get you in serious trouble if you don't have the discipline. But I feel that if I have an idea that I may be looking to play on a team in that spot it will give me a better chance at preparing. I will be paying a lot of attention to tonight's WCC games because I think Saturday can be a big day. I am basically going to be scouting tonight's Gonzaga-St Mary's game for Saturday. I am hoping for an emotional 4 overtime battle. If it's a cruiser either way I may have to re-think my Saturday bets.
The reason i liked illinois St last night is because I thought their veteran guards would give the young N Iowa back court some problems. They had the quickness and size to close out on their 3 point shooters, and have played in more big games then the Panthers. This was strictly a matchup play for me. Obviously it didn't work out, but they did lead for most of the game, and if I can get a fair price later at home, or on a neutral court in the conference tournament I will be sure to get some revenge.

i have been riding denver at home so that should tel you just how strongly i feel about so bama
n.iowa will start to get it now. thought ill st had a good match up against them, and they did lead for the majority of the game. i thought their experienced, big , athletic guards could give the younger no iowa guards some trouble. i thought they could close out good on their shooters, and use their athleticism to control the paint. i will come back to this when they play at ill st and again in the conf tournament

basically i think so bama's athelticism is going to be too much for denver to overcome. wku crushed them on the glass, but turned it over way too much. dominic tilford is an all sun belt guard who shouldn't do that. plus usa is much better on the road. they haven't won at home where they have been putting too much pressure on themselves, so when on the road they have actually been better. big front lines are something denver struggles with. usa has one of the best front courts in the league. very athletic, and should dominate. key is too cut down on turnovers. tilford should be able to do that
