Wax is really all I've had the past year. A gram lasts me a couple months, even with having a few hits every other day or so. I mean, I usually just have a little before bed, and occasionally on a weekend might do a little more. But with wife/kids around (kids are 16/18) I can't just sit around getting stoned every night! Plus with the wax, and my vape-pen, I can do it pretty much inconspicuously in the house with no one the wiser. Wife doesn't really care anyway, but don't need the kids seeing it, even though my step-daughter has her own stash of some I am pretty sure!
When I get out of town for the weekend with my friends, a couple still bring the green. But even then we usually use my friends big vape machine, which has a temp setting and everything. Makes it really smooth. We still roll the occasional J too.

Ever hit a Volcano??? We had one in college freshman year with the dorms along with a sploof and an ozone generator - smoked that shit in there all day and never once got caught. Even had the kids across the hall get the cops to come while we were smoking ourselves since they had been hitting a grav bong with no catch shit stunk. We were geeking out though lol.
Been a ton of years and still miss that Volcano.
Exactly what my buddy says. Only thing that scares me is he says some of it knocks him into next tuesday ! No more reeking when you come in the house and he says it lasts him longer too. Only down side is the danger in making it. Another buddy of mine got burned pretty bad when his roomates almost burned the house down
Thats what I am afraid of. My girlfriend has told me it gets you so high its hard to walk. My buddy goes to the cannabis club and says there are all kinds. I like the up high of sativa as opposed to the deep down high of the indica. I used e cigs to help me quit smoking and I love the concept. My big fear is that the thc contents have gone up so much and I get over high now.
I am still a wax newbie of sorts. It's a brownish, gummy looking substance, that is REALLY sticky. You have to keep it cool, or even frozen before you can put it in the vape pen. I am not sure if what I get is considered "shatter", but that is similar from what I'm told. Shatter is like hard candy you break off a little piece and put it in. The wax I get you can keep in a little silicone-rubber container that actually comes with the pen. Sometimes that keeps it cool enough to break off a little ball (I call them booger balls, cuz that's what they look like). But in the fridge for about 5-10 min will do the trick too.
Cost is about $45-50 gram, unless I'm getting ripped off (which is possible), but the guy I get it from isn't a dealer per se, just a huge pot head/druggie (and elementary school PE teacher...lol), so I trust he's only taking a small cut. But it's perfect stuff for me as described above, and it lasts me because I don't go overboard on it, nor do I really have to share it, outside of the wife occasionally having a puff.
The pens are pretty cheap too, about $25 shipped. They get gunked up after a while, and it's tough to clean really, so I figure just order a new one every 6-8 months or so. I think it's called the Atmos Jr. You can charge it in any USB port. You can get better ones for sure, my buddy had a really nice pen at our last trip to the cabin, but I forget what it was called.

Not sure about the Volcano, so probably not. LOL. But I don't remember half the shit I did in college. Bongs and bowls was how I was raised. Now I'm and adult and smoke out of a classy vape pen, in my bedroom bath, with the fan on, and then eat 3 ice cream sandwiches and watch TV for a few hours and hope no one asks me any hard questions. :smoking:
