The Republicans helped him seize power. Republican memos state that his taking power was great for the region. Republicans gave him lists of "communists" in his country that needed to be dealt with.

Republicans also gave Iran its first nuclear reactor.

Republicans gave money, arms, and support to terrorists like OBL and al-Jaqqani.
