Bringing Hillary up to date:

1. Hillary lies, always has and always will. Lying in her case means not telling the truth avoiding the truth, and answers like “I don’t think so” and “I do not remember.”
2. The Dem’s have no other viable candidate so they are backing Hillary through thick and thin. That is how politics is being infused into everything she says or does (or said or did lol). They then blame the Republicans for being political.
3. The Democrat’s debate was more of a debacle than a debate. The dem’s are propping up Hillary every chance they get.
4. House committee – yesterday Hillary was aided by the 5 Dem house members every step of the way. It was obvious they were not interested in finding the truth and that is the Hillary/Clinton way (What difference does it make anyway lol). Well it does make a difference and politics ruled supreme yesterday but it was from the left not the right.
5. 600 – yes 600 requests for more and better security in Libya and none reached Hillary’s desk. I have a feeling Hillary had the cleanest desk in DC and according to her did not even have a computer in her office……really.
6. The video still is the monkey on the backs of Hillary and the WH. They rode that one into the ground and was obviously aimed at the least informed. Everybody else knows better.
7. No one had pre-planned an attack on Benghazi and there was no emergency back up on call and close enough to respond to an emergency. Really
8. No one was even reprimanded for the lives lost in Benghazi. Really
9. They did not even have all the emails and she continues to lie about those.
10. If the FBI does not step up their investigation on the emails then that is politics all the way. If they do try to get to the bottom of it and were to indict Hillary could that mean Obama would step up for a third term. Hmmmm. Is that why Biden stepped aside. Hmmmm.

If you look at some headlines today around the country....many of them say " good day for Hillary" or " hillary comes away unscathed". Pretty much what I said yesterday. It was a bad day for repubs. Hillary looked like the smartest person in the room.

I'm leaning more toward your side but not to your level of certainty. What bothers me the most is the 'youtube video' lie. She ran with it for election purposes. They orchestrated the overthrow of a dictator, and that dictator was replaced by terror groups. 'Youtube video' was the only way to brush off this disaster and keep D momentum going forward. Unfortunately though I watched much of the questioning yesterday, and maybe all but 15 minutes was a shitshow. Looking through the clouded vision of the average dumb American, in spite of everything yesterday reset her campaign.

But here's all you really need to know to judge the character of Hillary Clinton. I watched this interview yesterday. Unlike Hillary I believe this woman, the sister of Glen Doherty to be truthful...... “I met her when we were at Andrews Air Force Base and she spoke to my family about how sad we should feel for the Libyan people because they’re uneducated, and that breeds fear, which breeds violence, and leads to a protest. And I remember thinking at the time, ‘Wow, how selfish of me. I’ve never really thought about the Libyan people. I’ve been so consumed with my own grief and loss and concern,’ and when I think back now to that day and what she knew it shows me a lot about her character that she would choose, in that moment to basically perpetuate what she knew was untrue. “I thought about it, and I never spoke about it for a long time, but eight days later was Glen’s funeral, and at funeral the priest mentioned in his eulogy how sad he was that religion was involved in his death. Benghazi is all about politics but eminiating from the Dem's. None of the Dem members on that committee probed her or was seeking fact over fiction. I don't know how these protocols were structured but something went wrong, Americans were unprotected and Hillary was not forthcoming about the tragedy. Willie/Russ/Dave I have no issues with anything you said. Yet here I am looking up at the title of this thread and I can't escape the thought that it was a good day for Hillary and a bumpy ride for this committee. Maybe it's just too difficult for a panel of government officials to cross examine a trained lawyer with years to prepare?

Actually the committee chair is a prosecutor and I'm guessing not the only lawyer on the panel.

Her answers would be what one expects. Most people should understand that the Secretary of State is more or less a political figurehead and will rely on officials in matters of security. She's accepted responsibility.....as she should.....but people should realize that those type of appointed positions rely heavily on existing employees.

whether she talked to Stevens or not simply doesn't matter. He was in clear communication with the office.
