The IRA would not have enjoyed decades of success without many among the Northern Irish Catholic population acting just the same way as the imams and family and friends of extremists in Luton today.

We have gone too far and lost control of vast swathes of our country. In part we ARE a radicalised nation and it does nobody any favours to deny the obvious.

Trump wants to call a temporary halt to Muslim immigration until America figures out what is going on.

Adversaries may be quick to jump on Trump and make him the problem.

But look around. You are too busy gazing at the fluff in your navel to see the gangrene in your foot.

You lost sight of terrifying.

It isn't a big, brash American untroubled by the need to be loved. It is the march of ISIS and the so-called Islamic State.

You may want to distance yourself from Trump. You may want to carry on navel gazing.

But for many Americans, Europe is rapidly becoming an example of everything they never want to be.

As long as they keep insane, wingnut, gun nut, closeted gay Canadians out of my Country, I'm good, and we're a safer place. If we could just send Cruz home, it would help make America a safer place.
I know I'm more likely to be shot by some insane gun nut than I am by some insane ISIS sympathizer.

It is the same slippery slope which sees regular mosque attendees from Luton slip off to Syria to join ISIS. And suddenly a tight knit Muslim community knows nothing.

Don't just stick a label it. Be curious. Wonder, how has Trump come to articulate the views of a majority of Republicans across the States?
Because I don't buy into the clear divide between extremist Muslims and peaceful ones. I don't see these as two separate entities. It is a sliding scale, a spectrum. From utterly peaceful, to ambivalence to sympathising, to extremist, to a man blowing up buses in Woburn Place.

Of course Casper is lying. Only 1 of the 911 terrorists were here on a student Visa and it was not expired. http://www.factcheck.org/2013/05/911-hijackers-and-student-visas/ But what's just another lie by the insane Wingnut ghost?
Of course, the POTUS at the time of 911 was negligent about warnings received about a Terrorist attack on our shores, and would have done nothing had the visa been expired.

Rand's amendment failed 89-10. :ohno:

After a Muslim couple gunned down 14 residents of San Bernardino, California, Americans looked for strong leadership. Just like after 9/11 when Bush made like a dog of war and took the fight to the terrorists.
They didn't get from dreary Obama.

.

It took the President a couple of days to even admit the attack was terror and when he did finally address a nervous nation on Sunday night his tone-deaf message was that Muslims were their 'friends, neighbours and sports heroes.'

In contrast, Trump IS providing leadership. He knows some of his grand-standing is hot air. But he is articulating a sentiment held by millions and reinforcing himself as a protector of the American people.

It's the reason Trump is the Republican front runner. He has spent just $330,000 on broadcasting to Jeb Bush's $42.5 million —which is indicative of how much America is enthralled by this new voice.

Trump knowingly or unwittingly struck the on the truth about London, some areas do have feral groups of anti white and anti authority and I for one would not go to those areas for fear of my life by choice. I am ex services and prison service and currently work of shore in the gulf of Guinea where I feel safer than if I was walking in some of those estates.

That may be true now but ISIS is gaining momentum. Will that be the case in 2 years, 5 years if nothing is done about it? It's time for all of our leaders to admit that there is something wrong with the Muslim ideology. It's different than Christian, Jewish, Hindu, etc.. It is. Fact. It's an ass backward, barbaric ideology. Head out of the sand. Temporarily stopping Muslim immigration into this country is a sound idea. It's not racist, bigoted, unconstitutional, etc. We need to figure out what the fuck is going on. I hate Trump btw.

Also, I lived in little Somalia in Minneapolis. These people are different. They are rude, entitled, keep to themselves, don't assimilate. Get the fuck out of my country if that's the way you are going to behave here.

McClatchy-Marist Poll: Sanders Would Beat Trump and Bush by Landslide

Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders would beat Republicans Donald Trump and Jeb Bush by a landslide in a general election if it were held today, according to the latest McClatchy-Marist Poll.

The independent "democratic socialist" who is running in the Democratic primaries leads Trump 53-41. He leads Bush 51-41.

Democrat Brent Budowsky points out in a column at The Hill that Sanders' huge advantage over Trump is nothing new, but it is new for Bush.

"It is shocking that the data suggests that Sanders has a lead over Trump that could be so huge that he would win a landslide victory in the presidential campaign, with margins that would almost certainly lead Democrats to regain control of the Senate and could help Democrats regain control of the House of Representative — if, of course, the three polls that show Sanders beating Trump by 9 to 12 points reflect final voting in the presidential election," Budowsky writes.

"It would be equally shocking if future polling shows that the Sanders lead over Bush remains at landslide margins," he said.

The opt-in Internet-based survey talked to 2,000 adults between November 5 and 9 and has a margin of error of plus-or-minus 3 percentage points.

ROTFLMAO!!! But, you keep spanking your monkey over Herr Frump if it makes you happy, lol.

That poll in is from over a month ago. There have been 3 Trump/Sanders polls released since that poll (all with smaller MOE). You are truly a fucking idiot.

The establishment may be against Trump but the majority of the voters aren’t.

Despite an international uproar and condemnation by President Obama and nearly all of those running for the presidency, Donald Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims coming to the United States has the support of a sizable majority of Republicans – and a plurality of all voters.

A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 66% of Likely Republican Voters favor a temporary ban on all Muslims entering the United States until the federal government improves its ability to screen out potential terrorists from coming here. Just 24% oppose the plan, with 10% undecided.

Among all voters, 46% favor a temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States, while 40% are opposed. Fourteen percent (14%) are undecided.

Message: Mr Trump turned on his critics and said that they were not being dishonest and says 'everyone is wise to what is happening'

"The UK politicians should be thanking me instead of pandering to political correctness. Government elites continue to be out of touch with the facts on the ground. Great leaders listen to and support law enforcement officials - they don't bury their head in the sand."

Trump posted 3 stories on his FB page that proves he is right....

Ahhhh, you finally crawled out from under your rock! Nothing to say about being shown to be dead wrong, yet again about Herr Frump not saying American Muslims had to be kept out, too? Cat got yer crotch? I've no doubt that your link is a lie, both you and Frump are liars-we're still waiting for verification of the "thousands" of Jersey City Muslims celebrating 9/11, after all.
