Who looks stupid now! Let's see if the Golden Child can engineer an important, game winning drive

He engineered it, I'm sure if he was the kicker he would have made it.

Think Whoreman said Leinart played "ok"........which he indeed did.

The ARIZONA defense should be getting 10x the praise Leinart is receiving from the media on this game...........THEY WERE OUTSTANDING!!

Again, to make my personal perspective on Leinart clear............believe he will indeed be an "ok" quarterback in this league or slightly above average, but not sure he has what it takes to be a trully great QB in this league like the press is trying to make him out he can be.

With the state of quarterbacking these days, that may not translate into saying much since 1/6th of the QB's in the league make the PRO BOWL.

Who is a truly great QB in this league? Name them. Brady, McNabb, although there are many here that think otherwise, Favre back in the day. Who else is a truly great QB playing in the NFL today?

Does Leinart have the potential to be as good as Johnson, Rothlisberger, Dilfer, or Warner? Because all those guys have superbowl rings. In fact, he's already beat one of those guys out and he's a two-time MVP. Bledsoe, McNair, Hasselback, Kerry Collins for god sake played in the superbowl, none of those guys I would consider truly "great" QB's.

People (Whormoan in particular) said Leinart couldn't play in the NFL. Hey maybe he can't, it's only two games in to his career. I think he can and will eventually get the Cards to the playoffs, and that will put him right there with the top QB's in the league.

I know one thing, Chicago would be a hell of a lot better if Leinart was their QB instead of Grossman. Football is the ultimate team game and for most players, personal success is wrought from everyone playing together. That's why a guy like Rothlisberger can flash his superbowl ring after a 22.6 performance and a guy like Marino never got to taste that champaigne.

As for the press, I read way more sportswriters who were on Whormoan's side of the aisle than were on mine. A lot of "press" said he'd never make it in the NFL because his arm wasn't strong enough.

Leinart can't hold a candle to Grossman. Did Leinart play better tonight? Yes, but so what. Grossman was the MVP of the league prior to tonight. Another overreactive statement by you to one bad game. Grossman's arm is twice that of Leinart's. Grossman will be in a pro bowl long before Leinart will. Take that to the bank.

Grossman is in his 3rd year and just got outplayed by a guy in his second start ever. Put Grossman on Arizona and he'd lead the league in interceptions. You really have no clue.

That redneck from the Colts should probably merit a mention somewhere.

Get your facts straight moron. USC has one BCS title to their name. They don't even belong in this yr's discussion.

Sorry to wake you up from your deep slumber but USC has been in all the National Championship discussions for the last 4 years ! Enjoy your slumber ! You really ought to take up another hobby because you don't have any clue to what's going on in Football !:puppy:
