two Eagles raised their fists, no Redskins protested

Got it. So let's keep moving the goalposts and the special scoreboard. So far I've got...

Acceptable

Dog Killers, Wife Beaters, and people that conceal evidence in a murder investigation (all crimes, but OK as long as they did their time or weren't charged)
People that raise a fist with a "Black Power" salute

Unacceptable

People that kneel or sit (not a crime)

Moral equivalency = None

And the herd mentality continues on. I like to think of things based on issues, Willie (not just march in lockstep like most of these other guys with this Republican good, Democrat bad bullshit). We will continue to disagree on this issue because it's hypocrisy at its finest. And btw, let's not kid ourselves with the notion that this stuff is OK just because people did their time. We have a child molester in our neighborhood. Yeah, he did his time but that doesn't mean people don't have their children walk on the other side of the street when they go by his house. Most people on felonies don't usually get placed ahead of those with clean records on job searches (that's reality...call it what you want). These guys lives wouldn't be over if they couldn't play in the NFL any more. But instead, if they can play, the NFL and the hypocritical fans look the other way as long as it benefits their team. And yet, if someone kneels (again, not a crime)...Oh Jesus Christ...it's the end of the world. I really don't give a shit if people want to stop watching. But I can't help but laugh at the naivety of people that think they are somehow going to bring the NFL down to its knees because they're not watching (and of course, they have to remind people of it constantly) I assure you, most people that are still watching aren't too concerned about those not watching (talk to the Eagles/Redskins fans last night as that place was rockin'). And since this topic is being barely mentioned now on any of the NFL games, I guess people just have to try and keep it alive (even though if they had any common sense, they would just ignore it and let it simply fall by the waist side). I don't pay a damn bit of attention to any of these moron athletes, actors, etc. Their opinion is no more valuable than the Average Joes. But apparently when someone yells squirrel, there are those that much yell "where?". Sorry, not going to be that person or just blindly follow what Conservatives feel is the flavor of the week. Done with this. EOM

Christ, you are remarkably dim witted. Every single post you make reveals it.

have no idea what this red herring stuff is all about, clearly you're not addressing any position I've taken although you did quote me in this rant
