There are 2 things you should do.
These are very low risk wagers given the situation.
- Take the Celtics ATS in game 2 - home teams are on an incredible ATS run after losing game 1 at home (most recent example is Golden State blowing out the Lakers after losing game 1). I would put a minimum of $500 on this.
- Take the Celtics for the series - if the Heat win game 2, there is a very low probability Boston will win 4 games with 3 of them being at Miami. If the Heat win the series, there will be a DK cash out (and other options) covering this. If Boston wins, you get some cash. You should do this for at least several hundred, if not more.
These are very low risk wagers given the situation.

Wow lots of weird replies in here. Fake bet? Bragging? WTF? All I was asking is what was the best way to hedge at the time for a guaranteed payout. I wasn't saying I was going recommend my friend do it I was just wondering what the correct process was to do it and make sure what I came up with was correct. If there was a way to guarantee a payout before the series started but the only possible guarantee payout was $100 obviously I wouldn't recommend to my buddy to do it. I was just asking if I was missing something.

what advise did you give other than posting Celtics to win series at +125? Let’s say he puts 4k on that. Miami wins. He’s down 4k with 15k to play with. Finals is Denver Miami. Let’s say Denver is -400 to win the series. He would have to put 16k on Denver just to recover his Boston Loss.
