I bet you'd be surprised that some of our American presidents were home-schooled. They were good speakers and good problem solvers.

Yeah, I think John Adams, John Quincy Adams, James Garfield, Andrew Jackson, Thomas Jefferson, Abe, James Polk, FDR, Theodore Roosevelt and George Washington were homeschooled under slightly different circumstances than what we're talking about here.

Says the white kid from Indiana and not talking Indianapolis. Get the fuck outta here.

I worked in the west end of louisville for 2 years. Right in the heart of it. A murder every night out there. I interacted with the exact type of African American community I'm speaking of every single day.

Come on I'm no conspiracy nut. Have no problem with home-schooling though. I think that they are usually more educated, and able to think more critically than public schooled kids. It really depends on how they are educated.

Let's say in all 50 states there was an end of senior year test that all students had to take and pass. What % of home schooled kids do you think would pass that test?

There were 365 murders in Louisville for two straight years?

I'd bet that home-schooled kids would out perform public schooled kids in testing

The homeschooled kids I interface with are without question much better educated than those in the public schools and its not even close. These kids take debate and rhetoric classes and do all sorts of interactions with other kids. So I'm really not familiar with these maladjusted kids you all are talking about. I go to the Texas homeschool convention near Houston every year because my wife speaks and sells books there, so I'm very well aware of the community, even though my kids are in private schools.

West end of louisville is no joke bud. It's the wild west out there.

Anyway, the point is in that environment there are women that will throw down like Cassius Clay.

It's a way of life that you can't even imagine unless you've spent time around it.

You can always find an anomaly. Just don't get why joe blow mom or dad with zero educational schooling whatsoever think they can educate their child. It's not like these people just roll out of bed and become educators. I mean literally, a high school dropout parent can home school their child. How ridiculous is that?

+1 I've been very impresses with home-schooled kids I've met. Some of the kids coming out of public school are barely literate.

Why do you assume homeschooled kids have uneducated parents?

FZ, there will always be smart kids and dumb kids (AK) whether it be home schooled or in a public school. Don't tell me a home schooled kid is better educated than a kid at Harvard, Stanford or MIT that went to a public school. You can find different kids all over.

What we're really talking about is the social aspect.

You literally live on this forum day and night. No way you get out of your shack let alone know a woman. Go have another beer.

Dude, grandpa, people have phones with the Internet now. Bet your phone still has an antenna, lol!
