Met one in Mazatlan spring break 1993 at the Bora Bora club. She went to community college next to U of A. Took her to multiple fraternity parties for spring semester and had a good run.

It can be fun --- but if you ever forget what you're dealing with, you're in for a world of hurt.
Not every stripper is crazy (conversely, not every 9-to-5 office-girl is happy & normal) --- but even for the normal strippers, there are so many variables. Even for well-adjusted people, it isn't exactly an environment that is conducive to success. Maybe some of the high-end clubs are exceptions (maybe).
The money, the booze, the drugs, the constant attention from men, the exposure to criminals & hustlers, the nocturnal hours. All their co-workers & friends who expose them to bad habits and bad situations. Unless you live & work the same lifestyle/hours, it's tough to manage.
For every stripper who comes home ready-to-bang --- there's another stripper who comes home cranky & exhausted, after dealing with asshole men for 6+ hours.
