wil has been hard on ACE ACE for some reason, I do notice that when somebody rubs him the wrong way he doesnt seem to hide it.... (I was once one of those folks that rubbed him the wrong way, so I know)
it is safe to say that ACE, must have rubbed him the wrong way....
I too think it has been harsh & feel that ACE has maintained his dignity & respectability in this forum.... (maybe there is something I dont know?)
That being said, the attention ACE receives is ridiculous... what he has done is SHORT TERM folks..... Many Lucky wins, not saying he is not a great capper.... but remember, Nobody (including ACE) can work miracles or maintain such a win % over the long term....

Credibility in the Sports Forums is extremely important in my opinion particularly when posting records as well as lines obtained. When you post a record at the top of your page that purposely leaves out a significant number of losses that were below a certain dollar or unit value, you have purposely chosen to be deceptive to make your record appear better then it is and the viewer, unless they are scruntizing the handicapper closely can be mislead as to the overall and true ability of that handicapper. Beware, for not is all what it appears to be.

as you know I am a big proponent of the WA philosophy.... (I have started threads on this & the ethics of being a forum capper). Recently my comments preceded a STICKY you posted in the sports forums....
that being said, obviously, every sharp capper is gonna shop for the best available line.... it is common sense & the responsibility of every sharp capper to do so. So in a situation where 8 out of 10 books have a total of 51.5 & 2 of 10 have a total of 52.... IMO obviously my play would be 52 if I liked the UNDER, & posting a line of 52 IMO is not an exageration or an abuse, & in my books the capper should get credit for the WA philosophy.
FWIW, SIA currently has 52 on that game, not to mention every other line posted in ACE's thread is within the norm....
It is stretching a bit to claim that 52 in that game is not a WA number & did not deserve a disruption in the thread, IMO.
