I totally missed this - aren't Warner and his wife devout Christians? - that explains this thread

Yep...though neither would ever be found making late weekend drunken and profane internet posts as we've seen Senor Bird due on a fairly regular basis these past few years

An FYI for the forum:

Railbird has hated both of the Mannings since they were in college. Something about them being a foot taller than him and paying more in taxes each year than what he makes in a decade.

Hey Rail,

How's those last two Heisman QB's from USC working out in the NFL? Any SB rings for those two clowns?

The above post fully worthy of a reset due to Severe level of Truth

176 games for Manning to 110 games for Warner. Hard to even compare. Came into the league the same year and Manning has NEVER missed a start. That alone puts him ahead. Warner got to ride the bench while he wasn't good enough to start.

No freaking comparison, regardless what happens today. Plus Manning has consistently had tougher competition in the AFC.

A lot of interesting stuff in this thread, but I'll take Manning based on this...

I think warner was very underrated. Didnt help the media kept spoonfeeding the lame super market bagger story every year at some point. That didnt help his image. I would have to take manning though but not by as much as people think.

My personal favorite qb's were elway and warren moon. Warren Moon was unreal in my book over his entire football career, not just the NFL.
