The New York Times cover rejects this selfishness and reminds us that we are all in this together… or should be. At least, this has been our principle in our better moments, and some people have taken it quite seriously indeed. On Monday, Memorial Day, we will honor those young men and women who did not believe that being an American meant refusing to inconvenience themselves to help their neighbors.

Instead, to protect their fellow Americans, they laid down their lives.

We should really think about this day in regards to what is going on currently as well. Being respectful and considerate goes a long way. In today’s times it may save someone’s life.

We are (me and 40 of my friends).....by getting back to life. Clown show is over.

Then I guess we’re ready to go to games then. I had some Orioles tickets. Why can’t I go?

Because people who think like you have taken away that choice, it's not an option

Don’t say I never taught you anything

Not true because if they thought like me they wouldn’t have waited until March 11th to stop the games.

So you can throw that out the window. Let’s try again....

If billion dollar businesses have no direction and have to decide for themselves....they will wait until the last possible second. As evident of what happened in Utah/OKC. They waited until a player had contracted it and spread it before shutting everything down.

No doubt in my mind if Obama was President during this he would’ve advised to close sports down at least 5 days earlier. At least.

We will honor those young men and women who did not believe that being an American meant infringing upon others right to earn a living, take care of their families, and put food on their table.

We will honor those young men and women that didn't allow a fear mongering media to dissuade them from continuing on with their lives and falling prey to brainwashing about an infectious disease that results are showing is not producing the numbers their outrageous models predicted.

We will honor those young men and women that allowed us to use our own critical thinking skills and use a rational thought process to make decisions about our own lives.

In other words.....FREEDOM!

out your ass, means less than nothing no matter how often you say it

and it's the very last time I'm going to let you know your stupid shit about Obama is stupid shit.

You can't teach anything, that takes substantive arguments, facts and knowledge, you can only preach bullshit to people like you who believe all bullshit all the time

Our party was a good time. Had 30+ at the house. Might have burned a few dogs. Kids had a good time. Cornhole tourney was a blast. Everybody had red white and blue on.

I blessed the food saying thanks for good friends and those who have served to make the life we live a reality.

God bless you all

Not the least bit surprising. It's best not to give him the time of day.

I have mixed feelings as I woke up this morning. On the one hand, I was happy to be living in Texas and seeing people up and about and enjoying life again (knowing we'll be at 100% by months end with no surge in sight). But I also think about the people in places with restrictive measures in place and know how they must be feeling both mentally and physically (reminding me how pissed I was just a month ago).

I'm sure I'll be seeing plenty of flags today and that will remind me how happy I am to live in such a great country.

God Bless America!
