It is tough to say how much Trump knows. I would think he is studying his ass off so he doesn't get made to look stupid. 1 on 1 debate with someone that has been in government all her life and knows every nook and cranny of policy debate is not going to be easy.

Can he answer that? Probably but I bet there are tons of civic questions he can't answer. And if you look at some of his previous debates and court testimonies, he doesn't seem that cool under pressure.

Yeah but not many of us are subject to being on stage during a presidential debate.

That is kinda why democrats often come off as smarter than republicans in debates. Because the type of person that believes that government can offer solutions and solve problems tends to know more about government than those that don't. And most of them are from law backgrounds which helps a ton.

You have to be an exceptional communicator to debate someone like that, Reagan being the best modern example.

I'll say it again if you didn't catch it the first time. A woman like Wasserman is in a pretty powerful position in Florida and was the chair of the DNC. She should know the basic issues but her staff said she was clueless.

If a woman that chairs the entire DNC is clueless, it's not far fetched to assume other high-powered politicians are clueless in regards to the basic issues too. Not saying Hillary is but it's not far fetched.
