It actually works well I put it in my stand up shower at the bottom along the ceramic tiles 1 yr. ago and hasn't leaked again looks like a gimmick but works very well, i got it at Lowe's.

I'm old school...I'd caulk it, and lick my finger, smooth it out, repeat with another finger, as needed.

I see this commercial on Bloomberg TV all the time. It's for Pro-Caulk. Always reminds me of a gigolo when they say it.

I like the grouting tip. I don't know why.

LOL, I love how they make a huge mess, even a mentally challenged person could not make a mess like that. I must admit though, that tool does have some applications.
