i tried before myself and ended up with a mess and caulk all over me..i figured this time i would pay someone to do it good..

i can do some things on my own,but not a lot..i have replaced water faucet's,garbage disposal,heating element in hot water heater,breakers,inner workings of toilet etc....


as far as the flooring goes i will not choose someone that is not experienced..

The way I see it:

This method will only work for jobs that can't really be Fucked up, unless you try hard, or are incompetent.

An example would be removing an old couch, and hauling it to the dump.

Buster calls for a guy with a truck, offers $50 for removal ( probably $20 fee to the dump), so the guy gets $30. Buster hires me, and we load it on my truck...can't really Fuck this up, can we ?

Installing tile or floors or something, has potential for bad quality work.

Hauling and lawnmowing, etc., much less so. How badly can you mow a lawn ?

You either load the garbage in your truck,and remove it,or not.

You can certainly install floors, or paint poorly.

Caulking is not hard, key is moisture...I like the the wet finger method, some paper towels (wet), and a small hole in the caulking tube (use a cut-off coat hanger), at a 45 degree angle

If you can install a faucet, or garbage disposal, you can do this.

The video is quite good, actually. I came across an awful one.

They do make Siliconized paintable nowwa days also, but it latex based. The guy in the video is a jack ass. You can tell he really takes care of his bathtub. Also, adhesive caulk is garbage.
