With the romp now on in Chicago, it appears as though the roadies are going 1-3 SU and 2-2 against the closing spread, but 1-3 against the opening spread, which fits right in with my figurings on this week. All those teams are gonna be at home next weekend, so we might not have many sides to choose from.

Congrats on the + Units

Well, we both did OK as I bet vs the big line moves (as I stated in an earlier post)and won with Austin, N.O., Ga (+10), & SJ +3, but lost with Phila (close) and TB (also a close game ATS until the end).

I doubt lines will move as much next week.

I'm going w/ Ariz -2 tonite based on capping and going vs line move - I saw the game as high as -4.5

Good luck to all.

Have a great spring break guru - don't do anything I wouldn't do (in my youth) which gives you lots of latitude. Just don't drink/take dope and drive and be careful. Lots of idiots out there

Hey thanks olddog...

And the lines will move just as much this week, almost guaranteed. Especially over/unders. They've consistently moved 10-13 points after I go with them and put them here... For example, GA/Cmb opened at 106.5 and closed at 93... you'll see something similar next week in at least one game for sure.

Seems like everyone had a nice week, which is good to see. Roxy, sorry about crapping the bed for ya with Arz and LA... There's a reason I didn't bet the game. This Arizona team looks like they've tanked it for good... still not impressed by 4-2 LA though I must admit.... They'll run into a buzz saw eventually... Bring that sh-- into the Jungle in about a month and see what Kaleo does this time around! (We don't like John Kaleo too much in Orlando after beating us with Austin and all those years in Tampa...)

Nice call on TB, Guru!

If Az has tanked then this week on road vs. TB may be
one to look at.

I'm interested in working with a multi-year database of
AFL game results. Anyone know where to find such an
animal?

Enjoy your vacation; hope you'll be around tomorrow.

Hiya MathProf

If you're the same one on SSB, where have you been? Haven't heard much from you in ages.

If you want the WORKS in Arena stats, it's all on Aflmedia.com. The number for the commisioner's office is listed on ArenaFootball.Com. If you call that numbe, they will give you a password to access 19 years of historical data. As long as you don't mind importing html text, there is more info there than anyone could possibly chew.

Another site to check is Statfox.com. It has historical lines and spreads, going back to about 1997.

Mathprof-

Welcome aboard first of all! For statistical databases I use ats411. I've used statfox and it's most all of the same crap. Never used AFLmedia myself, but I've heard it's a great site. I know people that have access to it that when I'm looking for a specific stat they can look it up for me, but aside from that, ats411 paired with personal stats are all that I use.

Thanks Daringly and Guru; I'll check out all three mentioned sites
and report my findings.

Looking forward to each new week of posts and picks.
