14-6 end of the first, Colorado ball... starting to look A LOT like last week's game Grand Rapids played against Arizona. Grand Rapids not scoring on their last drive makes me believe we really badly need 4 TDs in this quarter, and maybe a gift FG as well. 50 is a key number to get to here...

Lol... I believe with this last scamper that Michael Bishop is the leading rusher in the AFL with 72 yards... better than that... he might become the 2nd 100 yard rusher in AFL history, and the first in regular season history. Orlando FB Rick Hamilton rushed for 108 yards against Tampa in the Arena Bowl in '98 (maybe it was '99... Whatever, it was the Arena Bowl where Tampa got smoked by the Preds all over the field).

I wish a unit = 100 Ace... not quite... I'll leave it at that. I don't gamble with a massive bankroll. Some of your NFL bets are like 3 times my bankroll. Anyway, that's not the point.

Remember, I've still got 12 units floating around for tomorrow's action... so I'm really only through 1 and a half weeks. Not expecting to finish up 100 units, though it'd be REALLY nice! I know my stretch in the opposite direction is bound to happen.

aflguru, you definitely have your head on straight, don't lose that, it will serve you well long term. Many lose their head when they taste a little success. Excellent start to the season so far, been dabbling a little to keep interest up....GL..

Don't worry about me and units. You'll VERY rarely see me play 5* games, and the majority of my plays that are either "feeling" plays or "action" plays are for less than 2 units. I don't really like to call them "action" plays because I'm not determined to bet on every Arena League game. They are all plays supported by either others' opinions or some basic stats that I track that Vegas clearly doesn't... nor would I pay someone to if I were a Pinnacle or something like that. Obscure stats take forever to find and track.

I think 72-56 is over just by a tad... Just send this game to New York... Home team by 16, anything over 110 is just fine with all of us.

Recap for today... keep in mind these are lines that I got back on Monday afternoon...

Dallas @ New York over 104.5 (5 units)... Yes, I still think at 110.5 this game is still going to sail over the total... I wouldn't play it 5 stars though... maybe 3.5-4.

New York (-2.5) vs. Dallas (3 units)... no value in the -7 they are now. Maybe a moneyline play or a tease would be appropriate.

Chicago (+7.5) vs. Philadelphia (4 units)... Yeah, I still think Chicago is winning the game outright, but not as confident with the odds at a pick 'em as they would have been (around +285) had this line not moved.

Ace: The lines come out tomorrow around noon EST... I won't get back from class until about 12:30-12:45, but right thereafter, I'm on the lines.
