The announcer said " he stretches for it annnnd he gets it, Touchdown". It sounds like it was just over the line.

Recap of yesterday...

2 for 3, which works out for a W for the night. Georgia covered the 10 to go 1-0 on teasers for those of you that took them... That being said...

Week 2

New Orleans at Nashville over 91 w/ Georgia at Los Angeles under 95.5 Win (+2.6 units)
Other two parlays: Lost (-0.75 units)

Record for week 2: 1-2
Net for week 2: +1.85 units

YTD: 5-4
Net YTD: +10.24 units

Still got the big boys to go Sunday. I believe Saturday is going to be an off day, but I'll do some last second research on the games to see in anything in particular strikes me.

Yeah, I said I wasn't going to do this, but because of last night's success, I'm willing to let it ride on the following...

Grand Rapids at Colorado over 93.5 (1.5 units -102): This game features new QB Michael Bishop to the Rampage offense. Sparky McEwen had enough of 5 Nick Browder fumbles. That all being said, while Bishop is more accustomed to a Grand Rapids game that features him running the ball, McEwen wants him to take more deep shots in this game, and only use his feet when necessary. All-Arena defensive specialist Damian Hughley is out of this afternoon's game with an injury suffered against Orlando, which should mean more points for the Rampage. Chris Jackson will be blanketed all day by Rashard Floyd, one of the elite tacklers in the AFL. As for Colorado, they will probably employ a similar game plan to that of last year's game in Colorado, when the Rampage ran a hurry up offense in the first half. This paired with the elevation issue tired out several of their opposing players, and led to a 39 point walloping of Grand Rapids last season. I make this bet in hopes for a perfect middle situation in the 2nd half. We could very easily see 55-60 points go on the board in the first half only to have it fizzle off in the second. I still think this number is generous based off of the Colorado offensive problems last week and the ineptitude of Grand Rapids on both sides of the ball. The difference is that this week... Michael Bishop all-time has 9-3 TD-turnover ratio, while Nick Browders was much much worse last week. If Bishop can hang onto the football and put 40 on the board, this is a moral lock. Eventually Vegas will catch onto Grand Rapids putting 40-45 on the board and have to adjust the o/us when they average giving up 55-60 a game. The line intrigued me all week, and since the number has remained rather stagnant and I'm getting some odds, it's worth a shot for the profits of yesterday.

Best of luck. Oh yeah, there definitely WILL NOT be a play in that San Jose/Vegas game... not even gonna try watching it. AFLGuruChick and I are going on that date I promised her.

For anyone who enjoys taking small profits at a time, that Colorado moneyline value of 20% on your dollar is great. 5 units wins ya one. Parlay it with Tampa moneyline for about 42% on the dollar. Not too shabby indeed, but not a play I'm going to partake in. But that's GREAT GREAT value.

Roxy--

If your book lets you do teasers, I'd probably tease the games. I don't like that Tampa game in terms of the line. Austin's got a good history against the Storm, but Tampa seems to be on a mission this year. Let down (after the whooping on SJ) and look ahead (to the rumble in the Jungle against the Preds next week) are both possible.

I still think over 109.5 is good.

Adding: Grand Rapids @ Colorado over 93.5 (1/2 unit -102): Good feeling with this one now that PPeter and Ace are aboard. So 2 units total on this game. Let's get 'em again!

Any ideas? Can't find the Colorado pickup and the Grand Rapids pickup doesn't offer live streaming... Guess I can live with the gametracker, but obviously I'd rather have the real idea of what's going on in the game, even if it is a few seconds slower than gametracker.

Bishop just led a real quick drive. 7-6 Crush... looking good with only half the first quarter gone by. 4 TDs in the first and 5 in the second (both distinctly possible) and we're so golden it's not even funny. But let's not get ahead of ourselves. Anything over 50 in the first half would be great.

Once again, 7-6 Crush, Colorado ball coming after a kickoff. 7 and a half left in the 1st.

14-6 Crush still about 4 and a half left in the 1st. Looking good ladies and gents.
