Happens about once every 3 or 4 weeks in the AFL... let's see... I can recall LV going scoreless with NY this year. I can recall Dallas and Orlando taking until the last play of the 3rd quarter to score (and that was a 42 yard bomb)... I can recall it happening one other time this year, but don't remember exactly when that was... But yeah, we're strapped to find scoreless quarters... oh Tampa-Georgia last weekend in that hellacious 2nd half. But to find a stretch like THIS is incredible... went 26 minutes without scoring!
And now Nashville scores on a 38 yard bomb... and Matt Hutto, true to form, misses a PAT. 2:20 left in the half, Dallas up a point should be playing for the last drive. I'll put under 48.5 in the first half in the win column... now working on under 96 for the game and Dallas to cover for us to have a massive start to the week.
Two offenses finally started to open it up at the end of the half. Perhaps this is reaching a bit for 46 points in the 2nd half, but 7 TDs does the trick, and I think it's a matter of time before Dallas starts opening the offense up and scoring some points in bunches. Also if the teams keep trading off we've got a good chance at seeing onsiders and quick scores. Percentage play I'm not so convinced works this time, but a percentage play I feel required to make, even if it's 7 TDs to grab.
