Gonna be Orlando @ Georgia and probably Chicago @ Colorado in the semis... Not a great day for me, as the two overs lost as did Tampa... but Chicago and Colorado coming in would be nice, as was Orlando in the 1st half.

Orlando/New York over 102 L (-5 units)
Tampa (ml) @ Georgia L (-1.5 units)
Chicago (ml) @ Los Angeles W (+3.45 units)
Colorado (ml) vs. San Jose W (+2.62 units)
Orlando (+1.5) @ New York 1st half W (+2.78 units)
San Jose @ Colorado over 112.5 L (-3.5 units)

3-3 (-1.15 units)... not a horrific day, but not what I was expecting at halftime... Besides, my Preds won and I get to see them play one more time, as I'm already planning the road trip to Georgia Sunday afternoon with about 75 of my closest Preds fans.

Santo... No, I'm going to the game... lol

But really, Georgia's playing real good football right now, but of the 3 other teams left in the postseason, this is the toughest possible game for Georgia. Preds looked really good on Sunday against a tough New York team, even though they once again let them creep back into the game, and if the defense can get pressure on Nagy like they did on Garcia, Nagy should fold easier... but he hasn't done it all season, which leads to believe that Georgia has a significant advantage... I'd venture to put the game at a toss up, with the advantage going to Georgia playing at home... But there will probably be a few hundred Preds fans coming up on the trip, and we tend to be loud enough by ourselves to at least let our team know that we're there.

Nothing yet... waiting for moneyline values... Might not play anything this weekend to be quite honest with you all... Can't feasably take the Preds because of a questionable Kenny McEntyre and Jay Taylor... I think Colorado's gonna beat Chicago, but to lay any sort of real points is iffy... If I play the game, I'll play Colorado on the moneyline, but we'll see. Perhaps I'll take the weekend off and be a hardcore fan instead.

Taylor is definitely out as he was put on IR. I did not know McEntyre was questionable, but I can't imagine him missing a conference championship game. I think the Force will get there but they seem to win a lot of games by 3, and I think this will be one of them. I hope so anyway, as I have 1/2 unit on GA to win the ArenaBowl at +750.

Man, I didn't know Taylor went on IR... but I kinda had the feeling he wasn't playing again this season when he wasn't even at the New York game in street clothes.

McEntyre was banged up after rolling his ankle in the 1st quarter against New York, and later rolled it again... He hobbled around most of the rest of the game. Hopefully he just rolled it instead of breaking, straining, or spraining something down there. Can't afford to play without him in Georgia... again....

Just remember that this Preds team marched into Georgia and was buried by a missed PAT... without Kenny McEntyre for the majority of the game... Lost by 2, maybe should've lost by 9... but was in it until McLaughin missed a PAT to keep the Preds down 1... They chased that point the rest of the game...

Orlando-K McEntyre Injury Status?

Any updates on how star DS-McEntyre is doing?

Thanks,

I didn't look at the official injury report, but heard that Gruden is way downplaying McEntyre's injury. According to all reports, he's practiced at about 50% speed this week and looks to be about 75% by gametime... but that update was a few days ago and haven't heard anything specific since I left town. Since the Preds haven't signed anyone else, and Riley hasn't been with the team since James came back, I'm assuming the Preds are going to suit the same 22 they did last week, with the exception possibly being Upchurch, being replaced by Buck Gurley if healthy. We'll see. Out of town until early Sunday... You'll notice me at the game as the lone black dot in the sea of blue in section 111 at the game. Get 'em Preds.

9-3 in Preds games this year, and only lost once on the side... They just play a very very predictable brand of football, and anyone following the team for years could have told you what was coming yesterday. I looked at the guy next to me when the score was 40-33 and told him it would take at least 60, but probably 61 points to win the game. He said I was nuts. Next play was the Hamilton fumble for a safety, and final was 60-58... go figure.

Tough one for your boys yesterday Guru. I hope you had fun though. At least you made some cash on the game.

Trust me, I'd trade the cash for the win... The trip was all in fun... in fact at one point, they were doing kiss cam, and I think the commercial was longer than they were prepared for... So after playing the sappy music where a whole bunch of people were kissing, they started playing "All by Myself" and showed a picture of that black dot sitting in a sea of blue in section 111... anyway..... It was all in good fun, and the camera man and I had a good laugh about it after the fact.

Brutally long drive though... 10 hours of driving in one day is too much by yourself, especially when the last 150 miles is on a backwoods road through all of the tiny towns in Georgia in the pitch black. I counted... in 150 miles of Georgia road, there are exactly 6 traffic lights, and the speed limit is never higher than 55. And anyone who's ever driven in Georgia knows when the cops say 55 in Georgia, they'll pull you over for going 58. Made for a long drive home. Looking forward to the game this afternoon as well.

Hope everyone heard that at the last second... Colorado moneyline in the first half... because they wanted the ball if they won the toss... I grabbed it for 4 units. And the kickoff was very nice thank you.
