42-26 Columbus. 1.5 mins in. 30 yd TD pass, again D'Orazio right on the money to Groce under tight coverage in the corner of the end zone. He is making me lose the wager, but I have to respect the fact that for his first AFL start ever, he has looked very poised and accurate.

Wow, nice job Columbus...

Notes on the New York/Nashville game...

We take under for 3 reasons...

1) We've got a MASSIVE middle number.
2) The way Nashville plays football we might still have an under game. Remember, Nashville gets the ball first. Very well could end up with them taking 7 minutes off the clock in the 3rd quarter before scoring.
3) If we happen to lose this bet, we're almost a lock for our Grand Salami... Got a lot of points coming in that Chicago/Columbus game. I'm gonna regret not taking over in the 2nd half. 49 was too inviting.

Looks like the Destroyers might have found their QB finally. Took 'em over a season and a half... Hell, they've never had a good QB going back to their days in Buffalo. But we'll see how much of this was Chicago coming out flat and how much of it was/is D'Orazio being any good. It's not hard to be a good AFL QB... just don't be as bad as Chad Salisbury. New York just stopped Nashville. Still 35-28 with 11 minutes left, Dragons threatening inside the Kats 10.

That will just about do it for Chicago as Philyaw just got picked at the goal line. Lazy pass.

42-26 Columbus, 7:00 left in the third and 1st down at the Chicago 15 for Columbus.

I regret my own account... AFLGuru, read your own words... "Lots of trap games this week"

Just fell into another one... However, if we nail our G.S. and somehow pull the middle out in this New York game, we'll be great.

DJ: Hope you're right... that means Orlando wins next week... Nah, we want the Rush to win a couple more games... I know they get Columbus again... That game should be fun...

Anyway, 14 points in the 3rd quarter is perfect. Just over a minute left and it's 42-35 New York, meaning we need 24 for the over and under 37 for the under. 28 in the 4th would be great.

49-26 Columbus, end of the 3rd Q and Philyaw is out with an injury for Chicago (does not appear to be too serious, but they have not given an update). D'Orazio just made his first mistake as his pass bounced off of the bottom post (supporting the net) in the end zone and was picked by Molden.

Columbus has just dominated this game (although Chicago has been noticeably flat since the kickoff). Before the pick Columbus, had 7 drives, 7 TDS, and all but one of the drives was at least 44+ yds. Total domination.

Once again, very impressive... Forgot about that teaser too... there goes another 3 units. We'll be alright. I feel as though this G.S. still looks pretty good, though we can use some more points between Chicago and Columbus.

49-32 Columbus, 12:00 left in the 4th. Chicago went for 2 and did not get it. Philyaw knee just a sprain, but does not appear as if he is coming back tonight.

Guru, do you have a time and score update for both NY and GRapids games? Would appreciate if you do.

LakersFan-- Not a bet... And it would be a weak bet.

As far as these games... New York and Nashville have pulled the predictable... 48-35 Dragons with around 9 minutes left. Under looks great. Over looks iffy. G.S. looks much worse.

As far as the GR/Aus game... Stattracker isn't working... It's 41-27 Austin at some point in the 3rd.

Thanks Guru. Looks like it is going to be a rough night. Oh well, I've done this for far too long to know.......rough nights happen.

52-32 Columbus. Rush with the quasi stop to force the field goal. 7:10 left in the game.

Lol... I'm not going to comment on that note to BrownsFan...

Regarding this New York/Nashville game, we're in a perfect spot to pull off this middle, which will make the 5 units lost on Chicago not seem as bad. Between the Orlando under and if we hit this middle, we'll be up a unit or so with the two games tomorrow.
