The Sacramento Kings were cheated out of a title - not a bad call but literally cheated
Was that the game they choked a 15 point lead in like 5 minutes in game 7 against Lakers? I can't remember the whole series. What exactly are you referring to? I really wanted the Kings to win a title and beat Lakers

1990 Bills. They kind of choked. Giants played a perfect game. Best of 10 Bills win 8 of 10
Cunningham Vikings. Lost to a blah Falcons team. Would have been an amazing Broncos vs Vikings SB

Patriots vs Raiders... "Tuck Rule"

I agree, nobody ever heard of the Tuck Rule before that game, some official went deep into the playbook to be a hero. But we saw that called plenty of times for the next 8 years or so, before they changed the rule in like 2010.

As bad as the call appeared to be, it was actually the correct call according to the rules and remained a rule for quite some time after that game. Maybe they didn't want to change it too fast :)

The Patriots were on the right side of that luck that day

100% Completely fixed by Stern and the NBA for Lakers That is the most obvious screw job I have ever seen, they did not event try to hide
they were screwing the Kings...

I actually think game 7 against the Trailblazers was even worse! How could a team up by 15 with 10 minutes left commit so many fouls with such a big lead!?!? 18 free throws in the fourth quarter, only 4 against Shaq. Seems like the fix was in that series too!

What are you saying? If a player gets punched in the face, a foul should be called?

Lets just say that David Stern did NOT want a Kings/Nets NBA finals!!!

Italy got screwed by a cheating referee in 2002, it was a knockout game but not the finals. The ref called a flop on Francesco Totti resulting in a red card when he was mauled in the penalty box He couldn't possibly NOT go down on that tackle

Arguably the biggest scandal in FIFA history, certainly the worst call in 2002. How could somebody not break that smug ref's face right then and there, amazing restraint when you know he's cheating

Yes I believe it was against South Korea. They even had a goal disallowed that wasn't offside! But still that 90 team, Imagine winning the damn thing without conceding a goal, with the leading goal scorer to boot!! Fucking refs, how the hell does a 5'9 player out jump a 6'2 player who can use his hands!!! They allowed a similar goal 4 years prior, "the hand of god goal!

Tuck Rule game.

Crazy what if:

Lets say its a fumble and the raiders win the game.

Who is the pats starting qb for the 2002 season?

Brady started in 2002 and they didnt make the playoffs (they f'd up my dolphins team in week 17 who were GOOD back then).

Would the pats have had this dynasty type run??

1990 super bowl- Scott Norwood's missed field goal.

Had the bills won that game, do you think they STILL would have lost in 91, 92, and 93?

What if Draymond Green didnt kick a player in the nuts? Would the cavs still had come back from that 3-1 deficit? Would Lebron still ONLY have 2 rings? Would Lebron have left Cleveland?

Absolutely would have lost. Redskins and Dallas were a beast. Especially 91 and 92.
The question is would Buffalo have even been in four straight? But you could make a case for the fourth SB. Thurman Thomas fumble and him quitting on the team really killed them when they had the lead

Funny thing about those teams. Their 4 best players Kelly, Reed, Thomas and Smith all played 4 SB. That is a total of 16 individual appearance. There was basically 1 good game coming from them. Thomas 1st SB is probably it. 1 of 16. Pathetic

That is a great case of greatness denied thanks to idiotic play calling. Thomas averaged nearly 10 YARDS a carry!!!!! Give him more than 15 carries and they easily win the game! They still would have lost the 1991 and 1992 Super Bowl. 91 'skins greatest single season ever (points differential, strength of schedule, 8 regular season games verse 10+ win teams!!)

The giants has a crazy drive to end the first half, then the long halftime show, and then recevied opening kickoff. I remember seeing that stat that the bills didnt have an offensive play for a like an hour or something like that

Wrong, dumbass. He was clearly outside the PB.

Those bills teams were good but those skins and cowboy teams were just awesome.

I remember being at the bills/fins afc championship (i was on tv) just watching my team get destroyed. Sad enough, it was the last time the fins made the afc championship game

It certainly wasn’t the worst, wasn’t for a title and my side may not have even advanced, but it still boils my blood to this day.

The Hand of Frog.

That was one of the worst no-calls I’ve seen in all my days, not one, but two fucking handballs on the same play and on the second Henry actually uses his hand to alter the ball to a better position for a pass to the winning goal. I get it, the Irish may have gone down on penalties or deeper in extra time, but to have it taken away like that was brutal, especially after controlling the match for over 100 minutes and with a berth to the WC on the line.

It was just an extra kick in the balls for an Irish side that was short on talent, but full of grit and heart. They were a scrappy bunch, drawing both matches with defending world champions Italy in qualifying and dominating the French in Paris following a first leg playoff loss in Dublin. I could at least take some solace on the utter disaster France was in the WC, but that no-call still stings.
