Pats in '11, '12, '13 not winning it all because Gronk was hurt
'11 he played in the SB but was clearly a decoy
Blown calls, that phantom Asante Samuel PI @ Denver leading to the Broncos getting a cheap TD before half cost NE. They win that then you really think they're losing to Pitt or Sea the next 2 games?
'07 Eli should've been ruled down on the Tyree pass
'08 Brady torn ACL 5 minutes into the season
That's all I got, memory a little foggy tonight since it is late

Too much China virus talk. Lets have a sports thread. List your biggest choke or greatness denied via bad calls or massive injuries.
I'll start with the obvious
Jean van de Velde. All he needed was a double bogey on 18 to win the open!! We all know what happened.

The greatest team denied due to a bad (non call) has to be the 90 Italia world cup team! They did not give up a goal the entire tournament until the non-call (over 500 minutes of clean sheets!) and they had the leading goal scorer to boot!! A bad move by Zenga coming of his line to allow a modest header from Caniggia in. Game went to shootouts and Goycochea was a beast in goal, stopping penalties. The goal would not stand today as you can see Caniggia pushing off Zenga.
Italy up 1-0 illegal goal scored. Greatness denied!! Could have gone entire tourney without conceding a goal! They were that good!
