I agree; looking at this poll's choices I've got to say "I don't believe what I can't see."

Game 1 of the 49 World Series produced as dramatic a HR as any. TV was in its infancy we had one of the only TV's on the block. Bkln vs Yankees, Newcombe & Reynolds went all the way. It was 0-0 going into the last of the ninth, Tommy Henrich hit a HR off the right field foul pole to win it 1-0 for the Yanks!

Easy one for me Bobby T!!! I was a 18 yr old kid, away from home for the 1st time. Stationed at Harmon AFB, Nfld. Loved the NYG's, on Armed Forces Radio. 62 yrs ago, JEEZ, I may be old!!!
