dude cincy or anyother of conference usa teams would have no problem going to gonzaga. the problem is gonzaga's gym isn't big enough to pay for the money. cincy has went to boise or whereever to play anyone. when has the last time gonzaga gone to syracuse and knocked off syracuse. also little pertinent fact. last year syracuse lost in the preseason nit at madison square gardens to a c-usa team. than didn't lose at home all year. this year they lost at home to conf usa. also you make a stupid statement that gonzaga would win the mac. in the last 20 years i think at least 4 teams from the mac went to the elite 8. I think gonzaga was the only team from that stiff of a conf. to go that far. to put gonzaga in the same category as the mac is a joke. in the nba the mac has put players from ron harper to bonzi wells. tell me besides stockton who has gonzaga conference put out. I can name at least 10 mac players that were good.

matt that is what i'm talking about. facts.

toss out all the rpi ratings you want, that won't win ball games.

and you are correct the big ten does play some tough as games night in and night out. but once the big ten starts, they don't play out of conf.
they are a very tournanment ready conf. i like the big ten, don't get me wrong, but to say gonzaga couldn't compete is still crazy.

this mid major crap has to go.

all i wanted to accomplish in this forum was to worn players about being to over confident that these major conf will beat these smaller schools.

it's like saying since nd has only 4500 students, u of m will beat them everytime.

30 years ago duke sucked, and the first two years that someone like me brought up the subject that a duke could win a title, people laughed at him too.

that's all i've been trying to point out.

best of luck. no hard feelings. lets win some money come tourney time.

I never said Gonzaga couldnt compete, not sure why you said that unless that was directed at someone else.

Guys chill

zaga will in fact lose to a team in a bigger conference during the big dance, but maybe they'll take one down in the process too... Noone said they couldnt compete - but their schedule is a bit suspect, as is the schedule of St joes, and maybe even stanford to some extent.

end of story ... ok?

actually you could of said that about 63 other teams.

since only one will be a winner.

saying it here

gonzaga wins the whole damn thing.

facts upon proving this.

that no one gives them a chance. like my odds even better now.

not sure why gonzaga hasn't accepted a home and home. maybe it doesn't fit into their travel schedule. who knows.

they should accept though, regardless.

only having a few thousand fans every home game i'm sure money for travel is a key problem.

a washington, or arizona, or usc would be good for them. but those schools want money, not really looking forward to a split, and a chance to lose to them.

one more point.

i didn't check the schedule, but didn't gonzaga beat wash st. by 40.

this team is a power house.

once again i wish everyone luck.

dont hang yer head truely

we're all in this together one way or another.

losses that "can't happen" often have a hubling effect...

on me anyway - like this michigan state loss for example.

I got ok State to win it all beating kentucky and then duke. But the way things go Im sure at least one of those will get knocked off...

GL moving forward !

WOW

A BLAST FROM THE PAST.

nevada looked damn good, just think, four starters coming back next year. wow

remember this run, and win on nevada next year.

my head is hanging, i was 1642 place in the one million dollar bracket for cbssportsline, had a perfect bracket going into yesterday evening and got a loser.

but being 1642 out of 100,000's i was still looking good, until the zags. I had them to win it all. ouch. maybe i'll still have a chance for some money.

STOP WITH THE STUPID SHIT ALREADY.

CHRIST THEY PLAYED THE WHOLE GAME WITHOUT THEIR BEST PLAYER, THEY SHOT 3 FOR 20 SOMETHING FOR THREE'S AND NEVADA SHOT THE LIGHTS OUT.

NEVEADA PLAYED OUTSTANDING, BUT TO SAY THE ZAGS WOULD OF GOT CRUSHED IN THE CONF USA, IS JUST STUPID, AND IT REALLY DOESN'T MATTER. THEY NEVFER MATCHED UP AGAINST A CONF USA TEAM ALL YEAR, SO STOP SHOOOTING YOUR MOUTH.

ENOUGH ALREADY. IT'S NOT LIKE DUKE OR NC HAS NEVER GOT KNOCKED OUT OF THE SECOND ROUND.

AND WHO KNOWS, MAYBE NEVADA WINS THE WHOLE DAMN THING.

AND WHO CARES?

never said gonzaga would be every team in the big ten by 10. and maybe they still would, they haven't played, and who cares.never said gonzaga would be every team in the big ten by 10. and maybe they still would, they haven't played, and who cares.

here we go again, talking about being overrated.

first of all i watch the big ten every week, and i'll tell you what they would beat any team in the big ten by 10 points.
how can you be overrated when you are ranked third in the whole country. maybe over ranked a little, but this isn't mich state we are talking about.

the zags lost in double over time last year to the Arizona Wildcats. what did arizona finish this year in the pac ten. second. and they lost half their team, definetly not as good as last year.

the zags have their whole team back, plus a few freshman that can really play. i would spend to much of your money betting against the zags, your pocket book will be empty pretty quick.

a few years ago the zags with a worse team then this to uconn down to the wire. ucon won the national championship.

turiaf*best player on france international team as a amat.
violet* will be drafted late.
stepp* they talk about being the best guard ever out of gonzaga. ever hear of stockton.

danny ainge ain't there to go fly fishing.

dbanana0-9 congrats on making another sweet 16 Mark:

The fight goes on. It's Gonzaga's second straight Sweet 16 appearance, though not many people saw this one coming.

''I think we'll be in a great situation in Chicago,'' Few said. ''No matter how anybody wants to dress it up, I don't think we should have any expectations on us.''
