Maria, especially was lobbing them in there. Trump called the moderators "elegant". I would agree if I was one of the candidates. Easy Peezy. They were horrid, but I like moderators who are tough and challenge the candidates when they make false statements, but I'm in the minority.

The format just isn't good. I've mentioned this before but you need 15-20 minutes on each big issue then move on.

Sure people would be put to sleep, that is their problem. Some issues need more than 90 seconds.

That's why the POTUS and VP debates are good. Just 2, maybe 3 people, ample time, moderators who will fact check them right there, and don't let them get away with shit, like Candy Crowley at the POTUS debate last time with Mitt.
