Looks like Strong is taking over play calling duties for the Horns defense, demoting current D coordinator Vance Bedford.

that should have happend 2 week ago after the Cal game. but i dont think it's the play calling per se. guys are out of place on defense and the tackling is inconsistent.
that's what needs to be taught and should have been taught long ago.

and whomever selected the lineman for field goals and PAT should be fired. those guys up the middle arent doing sh*t

As MEN, I'm all for guys getting as much tail as they can handle. As a matter of fact, if I were running for president I might have that in my platform. As long as it does not affect your job performance on the field.

Strong said a few weeks back that he was going to be more hands on with the defense. Off a bye week, they should have looked much better against a Pokes team that was tested in consecutive weeks by CMU, Pitt and @Baylor. I don't think it's scheme, they just aren't tackling well. What you see in Texas is what happens to spread teams on the defensive side of the ball. They tend to get soft defensively. If they kept a stat on missed tackles, I think they are missing atleast 10 per game.

Charlie strong is directly involved in a scandal of cheating on his wife with a Louisville booster's wife. Said wife is going through a messy divorce and the husband has brought evidence to court that shows gifts from his wife to Charlie strong, including a Movado watch and clothing women buy for their lovers. This goes directly against the moral and values platform that Texas and he cooked up to try to negatively recruit against A&M. Now it's blowing out in the longhorns faces. Any longhorn fan claiming ignorance of this is a liar or is dead. All that the evidence is public knowledge but the longhorn controlled media is trying to bury it along with numerous other scandals. It is what they do in Austin. They are Arrogant losers that hope people don't see through their bs.

I still think it is the "women issues"; Charlie has a hard time staying focused. I'm almost certain he still gets offers (and threats) from Louisville. There are reasons why a guy leaves town after sundown; Strong moved during the heat-of-the-night. I'll never know why Texas didn't take this into consideration before they hired him.

I guess it's just the way they do things. I heaard that Rick Barnes left Clemson because he was doing a girl from the dance team (a Rally Cat). He wound up at UT as well.

I guarantee you we wouldn't be hearing a peep about it if Texas was winning. Like WinOne said, half of these coaches are getting some tail. Hell, Barry Switzer was married back in the days he was coaching, and I saw a new woman on his arms everytime I saw him out on the town. He even cheated with his assistant coach's wife! You can call it a scandal or whatever, but that stuff happens everywhere...Especially with young coaches like Kliff Kingsbury, Sumlin etc.

SDF...My source is a couple of longtime Cardinal alumni and football backers. I have no problem with a man chasing poontang to take the edge off but, you've
been around the block more than a few times and you know coaching a major college football team is a full-time job. Bedding down women can be distracting and time consuming, there's only 24 hours in a day.

FYI: Potassium Nitrate (sometimes referred to as Saltpeter) is often used to inhibit the sex-drive in a man......Some times it works. Years back the military use it to cut-back the "urge of the new recruits. It sure beats castration from an irate husband.

For the record, I'm not about breaking up homes. Again, if the guy was winning on the field, we'd not be hearing about this crap. Messy divorces happen all the time, and it breaks both ways. For the booster, I'd say take care of your house. A happy wife is a happy life!! It benefits us because we can bet against UT on the field or play the Over and cash.
