Alright all- sorry for the delay in posting, though I don't know how may people are watching anyway (and even less are probably following after last week). That said, I'm a man of my word and this is a season long thread, so here we go for week 10 (FYI- typo in the above, record is 30-22-2, Units are correct)
3* Ohio St Team Total over 35- Urban Meyer is the best coach in college football, and they gave one away last week. They are in a must win the rest of the way to try and sneak in, play a good team that will help them rise up the poll, and will score ALOT. Don't know if they cover the 17, but I imagine they get to or real close to 50. Call it 48-35 Buckeyes.
3*- Air Force +1- I have been pretty loyal to them all year, with mixed results. Army is much improved and looking for payback, but Air Force is more diverse and faster, and that will spell the difference- 27-23 Falcons
2*- Va Tech Team Total over 31- They aren't playing Beamer Ball anymore. Their defense is now only OK, but they have a physical dual threat QB and big WR's, using the pass to set up the run. Duke's defense is not good and they do try to score a bunch, leading to incompletes, interceptions and stopped clock. I think Va Tech hits 40, 41-23 Hokies
2*- Michigan St -7- They are a bad team this year, and playing on the road. I actually respect their coach and think they wil rise up one week, theQBwill get it together and shine some hope on the future. What better team to do this against than a bad illinois squad. I don't even think it is close, as the Spartans find their D and running game and roll- 27-10 Sparty
1* Alabama -7 over LSU (buy the hook if you have to)- This is traditionally a game where I bet the underdog, and would play a little money line action. But this is a different Bama team. They set teams up, wear them down, and roll them. They are susceptible to the run/pass QB combo threat, but LSU doesn't have one. Stays close for a while, Bama pulls away to a 27-13 W
1*- Purdue Team Total over 20- they actually have some offensive talent and the only thing they can point to for this year is grooming their QB of the future for success next year. Rivalry game that I think Minnesota wins, but Purdue will get near 30- 30-28 Gophers.
That's it, all- follow or fade at your discretion, but I am hoping for a rebound (as I actually play the games I list). Best of luck with your action
