Thanks, Gentlemen- I love home teams playing a team off of a recent unexpected win. Big believer in ebb and flo of a season- except for Alabama which just ROLLS everyone.

That was an abject horror of a day. I hope no one is following, as this was the big losing tornado I've avoided thus far. I wasn't even close on most of them- Though Houston could have gotten me a double back door late but ran 3 line dives from the 3 yd line to end the game. I am trying to do my recap now to put this week behind me. After a 1-5 week (when I only hit my lowest ranked game) here is where we stand:
3*- 9-8-1, +0.6
2*- 11-8, +4.4
1*- 10-6-1, +3.4
Overall an extremely mediocre 3-24-2, up only 8.4 units on the year. Wipe it clean and we start a rebound next week- follow or fade at your discretion, boys.
My apologies

Alright all- sorry for the delay in posting, though I don't know how may people are watching anyway (and even less are probably following after last week). That said, I'm a man of my word and this is a season long thread, so here we go for week 10 (FYI- typo in the above, record is 30-22-2, Units are correct)

3* Ohio St Team Total over 35- Urban Meyer is the best coach in college football, and they gave one away last week. They are in a must win the rest of the way to try and sneak in, play a good team that will help them rise up the poll, and will score ALOT. Don't know if they cover the 17, but I imagine they get to or real close to 50. Call it 48-35 Buckeyes.
3*- Air Force +1- I have been pretty loyal to them all year, with mixed results. Army is much improved and looking for payback, but Air Force is more diverse and faster, and that will spell the difference- 27-23 Falcons
2*- Va Tech Team Total over 31- They aren't playing Beamer Ball anymore. Their defense is now only OK, but they have a physical dual threat QB and big WR's, using the pass to set up the run. Duke's defense is not good and they do try to score a bunch, leading to incompletes, interceptions and stopped clock. I think Va Tech hits 40, 41-23 Hokies
2*- Michigan St -7- They are a bad team this year, and playing on the road. I actually respect their coach and think they wil rise up one week, theQBwill get it together and shine some hope on the future. What better team to do this against than a bad illinois squad. I don't even think it is close, as the Spartans find their D and running game and roll- 27-10 Sparty
1* Alabama -7 over LSU (buy the hook if you have to)- This is traditionally a game where I bet the underdog, and would play a little money line action. But this is a different Bama team. They set teams up, wear them down, and roll them. They are susceptible to the run/pass QB combo threat, but LSU doesn't have one. Stays close for a while, Bama pulls away to a 27-13 W
1*- Purdue Team Total over 20- they actually have some offensive talent and the only thing they can point to for this year is grooming their QB of the future for success next year. Rivalry game that I think Minnesota wins, but Purdue will get near 30- 30-28 Gophers.

That's it, all- follow or fade at your discretion, but I am hoping for a rebound (as I actually play the games I list). Best of luck with your action

Back on the winning side, albeit a weird 4-2. Won both 3* easily, lost both 2* badly, and swept the one stars. I'm sure someone can run an algorhythm to figure out my psychosis- but as for me, I'll just plugging ahead. Here is where we stand:

3*- 11-8-1, +6.6
2*- 11-10, 0.0
1*- 12-6-1,+5.4
Overall 34-24-2, +12.0 units. Would like to be better off by this point, but firmly in the positive over 58% I guess is OK. Let's look for a big week in Week 10- I have a couple of my boys coming to town and historically our performance hasn't been great when we get tanked up and load up on games together, but maybe posting on the forum will keep me on the straight and narrow.

Be back soon with Week 10.

Sorry for the extremely late post- but based on the lack of banter, my guess is that not too many of you have been waiting with bated breath. Quick picks today, less write up- follow fade, or otherwise ignore. My boys are in town this weekend so I will be loading up the plays, but these are the 6 I like best:

3*-Kansas Team Total over 21 1/2- I think they can win the game outright, and they play with temp against a team that wants to throw the ball. Both squads wind up in the 30's, 37-35 Kansas
3*-Colorado St/Air Force over 53 1/2- I think this is a shootout- and again, I think the dog can win outright and they will score. Air Force at home is quality. Another game I expect to be played in the 60's. 34-30 Air Force
2*- Arkansas +7 vs LSU- LSU is a strong, rugged defense. They can't score, and the Bama effect usually takes a couple of weeks to burn off. Arkansas wins OUTRIGHT!- 19-13, Hogs
2*- Washington -8 1/2 over USC- USC is much improved, and this is the last great hurdle for Washington. Sometimes, the other team is just really good, and I think that is true of Washington. Their coach won't let them spit the bit this close to the prize. 34-20, Huskies
1*- Ohio St Team Total over 43- I think they will score at will today. Meyer is the master motivator, and with no wiggle room but still a path to the playoffs if they beat Michigan, he will look to add style points. He names the number, and I think that number is 58-17.
1*- So Fla/Memphis over 73 1/2- two decent teams with strong offenses who push pace. I think this is a close, 44-41 type game with So Fla winning.

That's it this week, BOL boys.

Sorry for the late post this week again, boys- work has been a real nut punch and it is putting a crimp on my gambling activities. The nerve! In any event, another positive week, 4-2 overall while hitting both my larger plays (and both easily,I might add) for a +3.6 unit week. Here is where I stand after 11 weeks:
3*- 13-8-1, +12.6
2*- 11-12, -4.4
1*- 14-6-1, +7.4
Overall 38-26-2, +15.6 Units. This late in the year I'm happy with 60%, especially as I have been pretty strong in my larger plays. Finishing up my plays now, be back shortly.

Can it really be week 12 already? I am already starting to miss NCAA foots...
At any rate, let's try close strong these next couple of weeks. For what it's worth I like the college board more than the pros this week (though in the past, that has been worth near nothing). Here we go:

3*- Fla +14 vs LSU- I think LSU has more talent, but Fla has a better coach. I think this is a boring, grind it out game- and I'll take 2 TD's in a game where the winning team might not score 2 TD's any day. Call it 23-16, LSU
3*- Virginia +10 1/2 over Ga Tech- Coming off a big victory as a team that plays stall ball, I think UVA can actually beat them outright- but I don't expect that. I certainly expect them to cover double digits. Let's say 30-24, Ga Tech
2*- Col St -4 1/2 over New Mexico- they are a better team than they've played, and their offense started to roll last week, albeit in a loss. I think they will score a bunch vs New Mex- let's say 41-26 Rams
2*- Tex AM -27 1/2 over UTSA- Game could certainly go either way, as A&M was exposed. That said, UTSA has nothing to compete with in talent, and Sumlin LOVES to run it up to build his teams resume and confidence. They name their number, and that number will be in the 50's- 54-16, Aggies
1*- Ohio St Team Total over 37- I think their offense is rolling, and while I have a sneaking suspicion that Mich St may be able to put a couple points on them, I don't think the Spartans in a horrible down year will slow down the Buckeyes. 45-23, Ohio St.
1*- USC Team Total over 32- coming off of a big win, not sure they will cover the number over UCLA (despite the fact that they stink without a QB) but I do think they will score a bunch, in the 40's. 41-34, Trojans.

That's it for this week, boys. BOL with your action.

Easy week to recap, boys- split right down the middle, all the different bets. Through week 12, we look like this:
3*- 14-9-1, +12.3
2*- 12-13, -4.6
1*- 15-7-1, +7.3
Overall- 41-29-2, +15.3 units. Right about 57%, would like to get it back over 60% but certainly profitable thus far. I will probably post plays for the week tomorrow to account for the rivalry games and such on Friday, so BOL to everyone and enjoy your Thanksgiving, fellow degenerates!

Belated Thanks, Indy- hope everyone enjoyed their Thanksgiving yesterday and are geared up for the football weekend. One of the last full boards for the year, so let's pick out what we like and gain some momentum. Here's what I've got:

3*- TCU/Texas over 59 1/2- Have no idea what to do with the emotion of the will he or won't he get fired with Strong, so I won't play a side. Both of these teams can score, and their defenses have been shredded, so I think that they will both march up and down and get into the 70's- 38-35, LongHorns
3*- Syracuse Team Total over 23- Cuse is a bad team. Dreadful, really. But they are trying to change the culture and go up tempo all the time, regardless of score. Despite their win at Clemson, Pitt is just a little above average team. I think they will hit Cuse hard, but Cuse may get to 30. 45-30, Pitt
2*- Purdue Team Total over 21 1/2- another team I've had a real good handle on all year, and they score. Their defense is terrible so Indiana will certainly score on them as well, but I expect a score similar to Texas- 48-31, Indiana
2*- Bama -17 over Auburn- Iron Bowl, history, I know- I will bet on Bama until I lose. I haven't yet this year. Plus I think Saban will drive into his teams head there is no future without a resounding win in this game- and he'll get it. 44-13, Roll Tide.
1*- So Fla Team Total over 38- they just run and score, run and score. I just don't see a way they stay under 40 for the game, even if C. Fla decides to slow it down (which they generally don't- they move the ball through the air)- 52-44, S Fla
1*- Washington -6@ Washington St- Lot's of emotion and an improved Wash St defense- still don't think it matters. Washington is desperately trying to claw their way in, and I think they turn Falk over 3 times. 44-24, Huskies

That's all I've got boys- BOL with your action and we'll regroup early next week.

After a rocky start to the final week (Texas couldn't score on a 2 dollar whore), I finished strong, winning my last 5 games- all with relative ease save for Bama who still got there. So after a 5-1, +5.7 star week here is where we wind up at the end of the regular season:
3*- 15-10-1, +12.0
2*- 14-13, +0.6
1*- 17-7-1, +9.3

Overall, we close at 46-29-2, +21.9 units. Don't know about you guys, but I will certainly take a 61% winning percentage. I hope I was able to help some guys make a little cash, my way of paying back the many guys who I take a look at weekly for years that have helped me. And for those of you who chose to fade me because I had never posted before- well, you get what you deserve Shush()*
I'll obviously still be playing the bowl season, but there doesn't seem to be that much interest in my thread for me to continue to post. If anyone feels different just drop a reply and maybe a Trump-like groundswell of support will make me change my mind...

Hope you all enjoyed and stay nice and profitable, boys. Enjoy the postseason (and my NFL weekly picks are still going to the end of the year)
