The mods have been notified that you are now bringing family members into your trolling cesspool.
Sheriff Joe has your back Zit! That would make me feel good about my actions, lol. You two deserve each other.
Lol, sure it is. All that knowledge comes from academia and much of medicine comes from govt funded research through academic institutions. Pretty much any huge breakthrough in science is linked to academia/government. Funny how disconnected with the real world you are.
Just...wow.
Ever heard of pharmaceutical companies, akfagdrunk? "Much of medicine" comes from them, not from government-funded research. The primary function of med schools, ie "academia" is to run clinical trials, patient care and conduct research. Or do you think campus hospitals don't purchase any drugs from the private sector because they create everything they need in-house?
Rule number 1 when debating progressives: understand that lies are just tools to them, and it's pretty hard to show someone why they're wrong when they are more than happy to lie to themselves. They live to promote their agenda, which comes before everything and anything...God, Country, and even their own family are all distant seconds.
I'm starting to believe you really aren't this dumb and just enjoy the attention you get from winding people up. Maybe "academia" can create a pill to help you with that.
Who pays for science? |

| Today, we all do. Most scientific research is funded by government grants (e.g., from the National Science Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, etc.), companies doing research and development, and non-profit foundations (e.g., the Breast Cancer Research Foundation, the David and Lucile Packard Foundation, etc.). As a society, we reap the rewards from this science in the form of technological innovations and advanced knowledge, but we also help pay for it. You indirectly support science everyday through taxes you pay, products and services you purchase from companies, and donations you make to charities. Something as simple as buying a bottle of aspirin may help foot the bill for multiple sclerosis research.
