Rollie, Schon, and Dunbar..that was a great musical trio, you throw in the most gifted voice of the past 30 years and magic happened, it's a shame the ego collided with the pure talent...the very early albums were spectacular and still are today.

Freddie Mercury didn't sing for Journey? :nono5:

That drum solo was Anslay Dunbar, that Organ was Greg Rollie and Niel Shaun was on rythym guitar.

Those 3 went on to form the the Band Journey.

Dunbar and Rollie split and was never the same band but they could jam on the four albums they did put out!

if they chose a different singer they could of put out some more really good stuff but Perry took them off course

Triumph's singer Rik Emmit...great voice...Magic Power was a great song, damn I haven't heard that in yrs....I got to burn that and crank it in the car like it's 1982.

I am ignoring you Bad Co...actually you are baiting me :103631605

Neil Schon became filthy rich because of Perry, i'm sure he appreciated that golden voice.

I would rather be with a female when music is on, not banging my head with a bunch of drunks in some dude ranch...to each his own though....The Sopranos and the White Sox didn't seem to think it was bubble gum, neither did the 100 million people buying Journey albums.

In the 80's Journey was the top concert band in the world....not because they jammed, they could jam though when they wanted, it just didn't sell albums.
