I was in a local league last night and I witness someone using the 2nd pick of the draft to take Winston lol

damn I wish that league was for more then $50 bucks

I also got waddle, and pollard in the 14th and 15th round
Wow! My league has been doing this longer than anyone I ever met. About 35 years. We wrote our own damned rules because the rules at the time were basic simple and boring for any leagues that existed. Those early years wee a lot of fun. Most had no idea what I was talking about when I told them I played Fantasy Football. There were no websites. There was only one magazine. And the major sports sites and networks and newspapers and sports magazines gave FF no print. None!

Anyway, the guys in the league I play in are very sharp. I might not get R, St Brown in the fourth round for instance. He may already be gone by the time I pick at 4-9 (#45).

Good luck, Chop. Bring us that sleeper of yours.

Wilson? Not for me.

Najee? Had him last year. He was great. But that O line stinks and hurts his chances of being the best in Fantasy. They sure held him back last year.

I like Chase. Who doesn't? But Kupp proved to be a super stud last year. If he stays healthy he'll be a super stud again this year. Chase still has a lot to prove but he'll clearly be drafted amongst the top few wide receivers.

Curious to know you're hidden gem.

How is Olave gonna do. Can he get deep for Winston's deep gun?
I’ll PM the super sleeper if you promise not to tell until after therx draft

Awwww. I get it. Sentimental bias!

Good luck this year, Av. You're the guy to catch in the NFL Contest. We'll all be chasing!
No bias here brother ;)

Beware of the Saints love. Olave is a nice pick for the Saints, but unfortunately he doesn't have a QB to throw him the ball

You mean the QB who threw for over 5000 yards his last full season starting ?

I see a committee with Walker when both get out of their respective MASH units. Walker will probably miss the first couple of games.

A committee running back situation with 2 unhealthy rb's on one of the worst offenses in the league is a hard pass for me
good points..Not much of a fantasy player

You can count on me. Zip lip if that's what you ask. Thanks in advance.

What about Olave? Definitely need your take on him.
Not a Saints aficionado but I like Olave a lot. He may be Winston's #1, Thomas still nursing a hammy. You could get him fairly late. He runs a 4.39- 40

Loved him on my Buckeyes. I think he will be a great, steady starter for a while

Yeah it paired nicely with his 30 interceptions

He'll probably be a fine fantasy QB if you get him in a later round. He's a tad below mediocre though if you're concerned about the Saints winning games

Texans just cut RB Mack, making more opportunity now for Pierce who is coming in as #31 overall RB. He could be a nice later round add.

I could be wrong but wasnt he a top 5 fantasy QB the year he went 30/30? If not top 50, then 100% top 10. He had awesome stats other than the minus 2 pts for those picks

Yea, Jameis will be a very late backup QB pick who could supplant my starter if things work as I'm thinking. But a late pck for sure.

I'm seeing Pearce around the 9th or 10th round. Maybe he moves up now that Mack has been cut. Maybe more if he's named the starter which I haven't heard that he has been.

You're gonna have to get St Brown somewhere between 40 and 50 I think. If he's there when my fourth round pick comes I'm snatching him. Don't think that I can afford to dip lower than that.

Good luck to you, Fins. When is your draft?
Thx

I am drafting next week. I havent done much prepwork yet and will look a little over the weekend.

This time of year i'm busy with other things plus i like to blow off the dust in my nfl and ncaaf handicapping and refresh my memory on a few things

A few years ago, i drafted this unknown QB on KC as my 2nd QB (Stafford was QB1). Stafford sucked the first game, Mahomes was awesome, and for the rest of the season, i had a team that looked like the greatest show on turf

I was not aware that a QB throwing an INT negatively impacts a WR stats . Thanks for the info
