If Bush wins, I feel sorry for any country having huge amounts of natural resources...

it amazes me bush and supporters use that excuse.. they are basically saying its better to have a stubborn ignorant leader who will always be consistent, even when he is dead wrong, and will never admit mistakes.

Bush is a draft dodger, but he sure is ready for war and conflict as long as he can send your kids.

Come on guys, keep taking Kerry for just a bit longer so I can cover my scalp. Shrink, thanks for the help. Daily threads like this are helping to move that line for me.

GF,

Although I disagree with you, I do respect your opinion. But to flat out state that BUSH will WIN is not grasping the fact that most polls show the race to be a virtual tie right now...

However, to be objective, I have some great news for the Bush supporters here...

RE: WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION

A new governmental panel concluded today that there were no WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION other than the ones we've been dropping over there....:messed:

What a beauty from Bush: They had no weapons of mass destruction but they were planning on getting them! So of course it was ok for the US to attack an innocent country. LOL

Almost all the above was obtained because of his family background and not indivdual accomplishment. In fact, my impression is that almost all of his business ventures were absolute disasters and poorly managed.

Sometimes WHO you know is more important than WHAT you know.
Don't know what kind of colleges you have been associated with but Harvard and Yale don't hand out B.A. and Masters degrees to anyone that doesn't earn it. Some schools are still funny like that. I know alot of people won't believe this but there are some schools were you don't get a degree unless you earn it. No matter who your family is. And if I'm correct the Rangers were sold for a hell of alot more than bush ever paid for it. That may be a failure to you but I much prefer that than taking a loss. LMAO!!!!

Bush was given a chance when asked to name 3 mistakes he has made in his lifetime. Any man that can't admit to making a mistake is a serious danger to be President, period...

Now THAT is SCAREY....

I really enjoy following the public debates that this race for the White House is generating . Here's a few "spins" on the Iraq issue :

Its about 6,000 years that the region has been known for its instability and lack of ability to build a democratic consciousness within its social tissue. Given this factual and historic perspective of the region I lean to share the belief that many international observers have expressed as to perceiving the U.S. intervention in Iraq rather naive and arrogant. Naive because the current Administration has failed to build a political coalition, arrogant because one of the milestones of the Iraqi invasion is to bring democracy ( a completely unknown concept as previously mentioned ) to the country.

Today's outcome, primarily the disintegration of Iraq under the pressure of several ethnic groups and bordering countries, was widely forecasted BEFORE the invasion by many European Leaders who opposed this action. Democracy and reconstruction may not succeed in such scenario, as Iran, Syria, partly Jordan, Kurds and to some extent Saudi Arabia are all busy trying to grab a slice of Iraq instead.

A further remark is to Bush comments about Kerry's flip floppings. Well....America was brought to war because of WMD possessed and ready to be utilized by Saddam....whose removal has been later utilized as the reason of intervention. This is more than flip flopping, this is flat out lying to the people of The United States of America.

Is the world better without Saddam ? I once again share the opinion of the many that saw this war as the wrong war at the wrong time. Saddam represented no threat at international level. Due to the stringently enforced sanctions he was basically a lame duck busy maintining some sort of grip on his own people. Is Iraq better off without Saddam ? Islamic Fundamentalism ( once contained in Iraq, the only Arab Country that was not fighting or denying or worse prosecuting Catholics who happened to be the second largest religion in the country ) is spreading its seeds of hate and intolerance.

Last, but not least....earlier this morning all international online newspapers were reporting of the latest kamikaze bombing that has allegedly killed several U.S. soldiers...not a word on CNN. Filtering, to avoid using the less diplomatic term of censorship is never a good sign. Is this still the land of Freedom or does the Country really needs a new leadership and direction ?

Why are bombs with D's good and bombs with R's bad?

Why is Clinton spending 76 billion on Bosnia and murdering 4000-5000 and aiding radical islam good? Which had nothing to do with Americas national defense.

Why is Bush spending 87 billion in Afganistan and Iraq bad. Which atleast 50% believe we're defending our nation.

I would say it has alot to do with what Forums, and watering holes you hang out in. lol. I think that one thing that is easy to forget is that this is a big and vast country and in are own little personal space we seem to surrond ourselves with people that think like we do. But that is only a small % of the people of the U.S. and there are others that feel different. JMO

apollo,

Most people I associate with are Republicans and even some of them can't vote for BUSH because they are honest enough to evaluate each candidate based on their views and not simply the party...

I RESPECT those individuals a lot more than those who automatically vote Republican or Democrat....

SS,

Good Point and I agree, lol...

Election night is going to surprise the hell out of you guys when Bush wins fairly easy.

Dead democrats and their dogs will not be voting as much this year, I've heard they've clean up the voting rolls and purged the dead.

The media loves to tell us day and night that the race is close, it's good for ratings.

I don't buy it.

Ken,

I believe that reciprocity should be imposed on the Islamic World. The United States teach a great lesson to the whole world by safeguarding religious freedom. The same should be imposed to Islamic Countries. Muslims should not be allowed to profess their religion unless their native countries allow the same to their people. Don't forget that, still today, Catholics are prosecuted in many Islamic countries, Saudi Arabia to mention one.

Mind, this starts with religion but widens to the greatest concept of individual freedom. Ideas are far more revolutionary than weapons and wars.

Gameface Sir, a question : would you be willing to go fight in Iraq ? Not the sons and daughters of this fantastic Country, but you Sir ?
