Pats, I don't even really know how to answer your question and I don't even care if I'm right or wrong about anything to be honest with you.

How can we logically define an answer?

1) Do I believe the media overhyped this situation? Personal opinion.

2) Did Trump's closure of flights from China help slow this thing down? I assume so but I'd have to look at the data. Don't know.

3) Is every person dying in American dying as a direct result of COVID-19? Don't know.

4) What would've happened had we done nothing? Would've been way worse.

5) What would've happened had we quarantined the elderly and people with pre-existing conditions while the rest of us worked? Don't know.

6) Will the outcome of a temporary crash in the marked and subsequent downturn on our world economy have a lasting impact? I assume so but don't know.

7) Would it have been better to keep the economy humming while quarantining the elderly and people with pre-existing conditions? I don't know.

shutting the world down won't be the only reason the death toll will be lower... It will be far lower because of these worst case scenarios these so called experts were pre forecasting for us to panic over

Yeah, you're moving the goal posts because you downplayed the severity of the issue. There are several posts that show this. I just hit 2 buttons and found the post from the night the NBA shutdown, you thought it was the craziest thing ever. Pretty much every health professional in the world would tell you a stadium filled with 10-20k people during this pandemic is not doable.

And I could find many other examples, we're on a message board man. This isn't some carnival barker on twitter who can say anything he/she wants because their biz model is to get 50% of people to despise them and 50% of people to agree with them.

Why did he ignore his incredulous tone about the NBA shutting down? Or about Washington quarantining (where this virus is a mess no less)

Why did he ignore me asking for a freeroll and saying I'd be glad to find the exchange where he told Mobdeeper it'll be over in a month (around 3 weeks ago)


For someone who LOVES going back and forth with posters, who does this day in and day out, to not be able to stand up to even 1 page of questioning from me yet asks Mobdeeper why he calls him a racist 50 times a month (why don't you put him on ignore? because it is easy and you love those simplistic back and forths) Me questioning all of your content and saying all you have to do is admit you were wrong is just too challenging.

Do I think Enfuego's intention is to lie? No, he just lacks objectivity, tries to come in too hot, this isn't really the format for that (social media way better for that type of carnival barking) and then twists himself in a knot and by the time he is done, most people just say whatever, that is him being him. It isn't necessarily lying, it is just being intellectually disingenuous, whether intentional or not.

Which is fine, this is all low stakes but it is what it is.
