It would open the door for the muzzies to practice religious intolerance at work.

So the ruling keep religious fruitloopism out of the workplace.
Right, so let's be intolerant of them and their beliefs and take away their rights!

No it means you can believe what you want but don't let your believes infringe on another persons rights...so don't choose to work for an employer where you may have to do something that you don't believe in.

I don't believe in Murder regardless of the reason, so I would never join the military.

Seems odd that insurance would cover that for either striaghts or gays. It isn't a health issue.

In any case, as for the doctor's refusing service based on their own religious convictions, they're essentially discriminating against the women based on their sexual orientation which is contrary to anti-discrimination laws, like the judges said.

I don't like the idea of gays raising children, but unfortunately it's perfectly legal. All you can do is feel sorry for the kids.

And Always At The Lowest Price
I still find it funny that the jingle from the walmart commercial "Roll'n Roll'n Roll'n.." got sampled and became the chorus for a hit song about smoking pot.

Justice Joyce Kennard wrote in the ruling that two Christian fertility doctors who refused to artificially inseminate a lesbian have neither a free speech right

Taking away another person's rights is exactly what the left is doing.

Interesting...I know in Canada we don't have an inalienable right to 'free speech' but I'd assume you could say "you didn't agree with it" but by not doing the procedure is taking action not using Free Speech

Agreed. Not doing the procedure is technically discrimination - not an act of free speach or religion. Discrimination laws trump religious beliefs.

Put the queers on their own Island and let them fuck and suck and spread all their diseases among one another.

Dumbfuck comment from a dumbfuck conservative. It's proven from tests done with people that admit that they are homophobes and people who are not bigot assholes that when shown video of gay sex the homophobic people get arroused while the non homophobic people are not. Looks like someone may be desiring some man love. That's perfectly OK though. I'll be here to make sure your given your due rights when you come out of the closet.

Kingbill, are you from Vancouver? My girlfriends brother lives near Seattle and has been there. She loves it and wants to move there.

I moved here from the Toronto area 15 years ago...It's fantastic...but you have to have a short memory when it comes to the weather...Too much rain. It's great if you ski or snowboard as there is always snow on the mountains.
Tonnes of great Restaurants. Good economy so lots of money to be made. Housing is F'n expensive. But if you are in the Real Estate game you can do very very well.

I would probably need to start all over again up there. New laws and new shit to learn. But anyway isn't it warm? I figured it would be misty like Seattle but doesn't it stay a nice 50 degrees in the winter? I heard it's very vegan friendly as well.

Very vegan Friendly...it snows about once a year in the city and it lasts about a week. Last year we had more than i can remember in 15 years though. It snowed in Jan and Feb...for a couple weeks each.

Lots of Rain though...more than Seattle I would guess...

Well I live in Cleveland where we have one week a year when it doesn't snow. I'd take one week a year and some rain. And more friendly to my lifestyle.

While I've never been I can confidently say it's better than Cleveland :103631605
