LSU Freak is a genius

That plaque is hilarious. I was so embarressed for her I couldn't watch the whole thing. I thougtht california was a joke but I can't believe people in Florida actually voted for her, wow.

The gators definately have a good chance of winning the national championship next year. With Tebow coming back next year and most of the line they probably have the best chance of any team right now. Of course another SEC team might make a nat. championship run this year too. If you've watched the SEC play you know that anyone can beat anyone. Ole Miss actually has a better shot than people think they do. The only losses that hurt were Peria Jerry and Michael Oher. Greg Hardy is coming back and with Jerrell Powe declared eligible Oher's loss wont hurt that much. They also have a favorible schedule next year with both LSU and Alabama at home. They play Tennessee, South Carolina, and Vanderbilt in the east and probably will win those games (but like I said before, anyone can beat anyone in the SEC.) If Ole Miss gets to the SEC Championship though, they'd run into Florida. They beat them this past year, so they could do it again this upcoming year. It won't be easy, but it's very possible.

If I was forced to make a bet on who would win the NC this year I'd probably bet Florida just like you, but I'm just saying that it's no given thing.

I would take Oklahoma again, just like last year. Say what you will about Stoops not being able to win the title game....he knows how to get there, and eventually you'd think that he'd have his day. If they can keep their D healthy, I like Oklahoma once again.

I do know one thing for sure, many people do not realize how the loss of Ryan Reynolds hurt Oklahoma LY. He is back and hopefully they can keep him healthy. They are much deeper at LB this year. Florida lost a ton on offense despite their claim that they will reload they still have some big shoes to fill. OU's schedule is the toughest of all the true contenders so the odds are against them. As far as the SEC goes, Florida has the week off before playing at LSU. I kind of see LSU circling that game because of the embarrassment LY. It was kind of like the OU vs. T Tech game where one team got the upper hand and layed it on. T Tech was a much better team than they showed that day and they never recovered from that physical and psychological set back. I do not like Miles but I like his new DC who has many years experience in the SEC coming over from Tennessee. But Miles will pull some stuff to keep things interesting if he can and if it develops into a close game anything can happen. Florida will have to show up every week as they will be a feather in anyone's cap that can knock them off. When you are on top you should expect nothing less and it is hard to get up every week. At some point they start reading the press clippings and watching ESPN and when they start believing everything they see and read they become vulnerable. Going to be a great season and what really hurts is that I know I am going to put a wager or two on Florida just like I did LY.

rebrebreb claiming Ole Miss will have a good year! shocking! they are the trendy pick for a lot of magazines...

i told you all last year that Georiga was overrated and that Florida would play Alabama in the SECCG

hear me now - Ole Miss is OVERRATED - they will lose 4 conference games. dont believe the hype, its like that occasional South Carolina hype - it sounds good till they get on the field

Wow! I think you have to get by USC and Penn St. some where along the way. You may wind up with a pooper scooper. But lots of luck, I would also watch out fo Iowa, Illinois and Michigan.

There's a reason why few teams have ever won back to back titles....it's really hard to do. Aside from being a great team, you also need a little luck. With today's parity and this screwed up bcs system, I would say it to be a bold statement to claim they will repeat. I'd bet with history and the field.

Yes it is bold. Looks like we are still able to be bold! Go Gators! Long ways to go still, but here we come!

How's that path looking?! You must of meant to say that Bama and Texas were the 2 teams in the path of the Gators.

Might as well start of this thread now. The Gators are going back to back and will capture another CFB Title next year. Tebow may or may not win another Heisman; He may ultimately do well in the NFL; that is not the topic of this thread though. This thread is simply to call it out now that Florida goes back2back. Those who disagree feel free to state your thoughts in here. I will be pulling this thread back up after next years championship game and addressing each and everyone who comes in here to slam the Gators so be prepared; and when I slam you don't come back with "That's his last game and now he won't make it in the NFL". When this thread is pulled back up it won't be about what could or couldn't happen in his future in the NFL but instead about the National Title that I called out now. Be prepared if you come in this thread to swallow your pride when I call you out boys!!!!!!

2009-2010 National Champions--- Your Florida Gators!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

There are a lot of Gator fans that hope you are right; they (the Gators)certainly have a shot at (it) the way things are falling in place and, if they contuinue to win which is a very big [if}. :103631605
